this movie was great i love the story line as to how clark became superman i'm a smallville fan so it was nice to see they based it on that can't wait to see man of steel 2

Overall, liked the movie. Story seemed to be a remake of the first and second Christopher Reeve's Superman movies, but was still very good. Unfortunately, couldn't view the 3D version because the 3D equipment in the auditorium specifically set-up for 3D showings was broken. Would have been nice if I had some fore warning when I reserved the tickets online. Rather than try and adjust the difference in price between the 3D and the general admission tickets the manager gave me a "RE-ADMIT" General Admission ticket which is acceptable compensation for not being able to view the film in 3D.
Pros well paced, great story, good actors, great special effects

Not the Superman that you'd expect, it's more of a Smallville remake, nice storyline, somewhat long but there was a few laughs here and there. This superman was less than perfect which made him more human and his display of his temper in one scene after being drenched with Beer was something I could definitely relate to, in fact the whole theatre couldn't resist laughing.
I would definitely watch this again.

enjoyed the movie. glad the language was kept to a minimum and the action and acting carried it more. there are some good things to build on. especially when they don't beat kryptonite to death.

Hands down the best Superman flick in history. Exceptionally told back story, great character development, and one of the best versions of Superman's conflict with General Zod across all genres. The only thing that I didn't like was how close the camera shots were to action sequences. This caused them to be confusing and muddled. But the balance of the event is so outstanding it still warrants 5 stars.
