There is nothing that you can't like about this movie. It's classic Tom Cruise putting on a show for us. Sci-story telling extravaganza. Even the soundtrack is great

I wanted to see the special effects on imax and it was worth every penny. Story line was a bit predictable at the end but still one of the best movies I have seen recently. It's hard to do futuristic movies and make them believeable and this one does that.

Wanted to go to the movies when I thought Iron Man 3 was playing. I was disappointed when I found it wasn’t playing yet. I looked for anything else I might enjoy. From the trailer I didn't think I would like Oblivion. It almost looked animated.
The reason I went to see Oblivion was the Actors. I trust movies more when I see great actors willing to do the script.
The story is well written and well directed. The atmosphere of the movie, a kind of ‘film blanc,’ a dream like atmosphere, it helped the viewer to accept the science fiction-ness more as a fantasy. I think it’s easier to accept fantasy more than sci fi for me. I do recommend the movie to my friends.

It's wonderful to be surprised when you go to see what could have been another ho hum, Tom Cruise, action movie. Oblivion was not only awesome to watch, it had an interesting plot! Yes an actual plot! It was well acted, well filmed and a thoroughly interesting way to spend an afternoon.

I think this movie was good, but not as good as I thought it would be based on the previews. There is a twist, but once it's revealed, the movie becomes flat. I do not think there is enough action throughout the movie to keep the viewer engaged.

This was a movie that clearly had been conceptualized to offer astonishing art direction and special effects, but I thought that the acting and the story lived up to the beauty. I was not surprised to find out that this had originally been a graphic novel, but it was brought to life most effectively. Some other reviewers have talked about "holes" in the plot but I don't agree with that. I found that it all tied together well. Go see it!
