Soloists and chorus exhibited the expected excellence. Iago's singer was especially good at displaying the warped, demented emotions of that character. In addition to her vocal skills as Desdemona, the camera loves Renee Fleming, and it showed in the HD close-ups. The orchestra and conductor rendered Verdi's score very well. The scenery complimented the action and the music very well. The video transmission had no glitches. All in all, very worthwhile going to see.
