This was one of the best adaptations of a Nicholas Spark's book since the Notebook.It flowed well, and had enough action for the folks that do not avidly read his novels. The opening on Valentine's Day made it far more meaningful, especially considering what the last 5 min of the film hold.

This movie was excellent! It was a love story, but wasn't all sappy. Had some funny parts and kept you interested the whole time. I took my wife to see it and we both enjoyed it 100%.

This movie was different than the book only in small variations & nothing that changed the outcome or the overall pleasure of the book. Very pleased with the acting and movie in general. Makes you more thankful for the people in your life that treat you well.

Read the book just in time before the movie. Of course, Nicolas Sparks wrote another great love story with a great twist! You never know how a movie is going to compare with the novel it is based from, but this screenwriter for this move did an excellent job. It is a tiny bit different from the book, but it was great. You are still able to connect with the story and the characters. Great casting! Beautiful settings! I saw it with my fiancé and even he said it was a good movie and that we can buy it as soon as it is out on dvd!

I really liked Safe Haven and I would recommend it to both men and women. Not only was it a sweet love story but it was very suspenseful. Just when you thought you knew what was going to happen next, something would happen to surprise you. All the actors did an outstanding job and David Lyons should win an award for his performance!!! I also loved the scenery...I'd love to live in that town!!
