Great movie I'm definitely glad I took my 5year old, I also enjoyed the movie right Along with him. Disney did not disappoint! The last two movies I took him to see could not keep his attention throughout the entire duration of those movies, and he asked if we could leave the theater. This did not occur with Monsters University, very great story and easy enough for my son to follow with becoming bored.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, kept the attention of my 5 year old, very funny
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I absolutely loved the original Monsters Inc and had high hopes for this prequel. Unfortunately it was not up to the level of the original in any way. The plot was boring and dull, perhaps younger children will enjoy it, but I thought it was a poor movie.
