We watched this documentary yesterday afternoon in a packed theater. It is being shown 6 times/day at our local theater and we were told all shows are packed (based on others who attended other viewings). Get your tickets and see this BEFORE the November elections. If you voted for Barack Hussein Obama in 2008 and have been disappointed, viewing this now will educate you on you mistake in 2008...after all you cannot be blamed for voting for someone you really did not know much about, and still don't know.

The black American struggle is not Obama's struggle. Uniquely Anti-American Obama grew up with "Anti-Colonial"sentiments foreign to any "slave" experiences common to black Americans. Leaving the movie the last thing you remember is Obama has the chance to destroy American superiority leading us to live as a third world country drowning in our own national debt with a weak military.

Although I knew much of what the movie was about it was refreshing to see my opinions brought to life on the screen. This man scares me and what he's managed to do to this country the last 4 years while blaming others for his shortcomings. My vote will be to get new leadership next election and to start making this the great country it's always been even though he doesn't think it is. How can anyone look back at the past 4 years and think we are better off today. I fear what he will do once he isn't worried about getting re-elected again. Something to think about.

This movie was well done. It did not come across as being political. It came across as being factually based and well researched. This was a presentation of the facts that have not been prensented to date. It's ashame it takes a movie to bring forth facts about a political candidate. Good or bad, we are all the product of our up bringing and that is what makes us who we are. The people we choose to influence us do in fact shape our opinions and motivations. Regardless of your party affiliation, this movie should be seen and then the facts presented by this move researched by the observer to verify the truthfulness of the content. If true, then accept it. If you find the facts to be wrong, then throw it out. I have found this to be a factual presentation of our current president.

It goes to show that no matter how much we deny, are parents have a strong effect on who we are today, even if they weren't directly involved. I loved the interview of Barack's brother. I want to try and find his book now and buy it.
With that said, I think it's hard for any politician to get into that position and not let the position corrupt you. It takes a strong person with the guts to do the right thing even when the voices in the beltway are saying to do another thing. Who ever gets in to clean up this mess, we have to prey for them to do the right thing!

The movie was a real eye opener. I thought I knew who this man was.
However ,I was speechless at his agenda to dismantel and destroy this great country of ours. My husband and I would highly recommend this movie to every voter. I have to say I was not really that excited about seeing this movie, but it was the movie chosen by another couple we went with. I expected a partisan hack job, but what I got was what i feel was a fairly objective story. I really helps explain some of the behaviors and policies of this administration. No matter your political leanings, I would encourage you to see this movie.

This movie is a very well made documentary that fills in a lot of blanks regarding President Obama's past. Using the President's own words (from his autobiography) it attempts to pull back the curtain so that you can see the man behind the tele-prompter.
I like that the film is being presented from the point of view of an outsider (Dinesh D'Souza) who is not an American Citizen, is not affiliated with any political party and is just attempting to reveal the "real" Obama.
I believe that Dinesh does a good job of showing Obama's past to us. At one point in the film you truely feel sad for Obama that he never really had a father. Dinesh throws us a bit of comedy here and there and then in the end scares the heck out of everyone.
In the end, Dinesh contrasts Obama's founding fathers to America's founding fathers and shows you why Obama's vision for America does not fit into the vision that the Founding Fathers had for this country nor what most Americans want for this country.
After the film was over, the entire audience (all seats filled) including my wife and myself just sat in our seats for a few moments with our mouths open.
This is a must see film for anyone planning on casting a ballet in November.

This movie is fantastic. The information and perspective shared definitely helps one understand the decisions he (Obama) has made as President. It is said the best way to predict the future is to look at past history. This movie shows the history and the foundation of the man. Doubters will attempt to dismiss, however they will not be able to explain away the associations and evidences presented in this movie. It is not difficult to figure out after seeing this movie and reading Obama's books that he does want to fundamentally change this country and what it stands for. "Love Him Hate Him... You don't know him" truly sums up the majority of people in this country. Watch this movie and you will know him and everything he has done will make sense.....Then you can decide whether or not you love him or hate him.

Consider it your civic duty to see this film as soon as possible. Check out where it’s playing, note the times, buy a ticket, go see it.
Being in the theater today was like suddenly discovering that there is a serial killer with a gun in the bedroom, and he’s just about to discover his next victim. D’Souza’s film made my blood run cold.
It became all too clear that Obama’s inner compass entails not only downsizing American, but doing it irrevocably.
D’Souza’s thesis is that only Obama’s deeply engrained anti-colonial hatred can explain the wide ranging and otherwise perplexing choices that he has made for America:
 sending back to England their gift of the Winston Churchill bust
 siding with Argentina in her dispute with England over the Falkland Islands
 stopping the Keystone pipeline
 stopping Gulf of Mexico drilling, while encouraging other countries to drill there
 giving billions of dollars to Brazil so that they can drill oil off Brazil’s coast
 a long assortment of anti-Israel actions and statements
 authorizing military action in Libya, while denying same to help Syria
 encouraging overthrow of Mubarak in Egypt, and being pleased about the takeover there by the Muslim Brotherhood jihadists
 defunding NASA and turning it into a Muslim outreach agency
 etc.
In the end it comes down to the question: what will Obama do in his second term, when (as he said off mic to the Russian ambassador) he’ll have more flexibility?
How can he remove America from its perch as the world’s number one super-power: by unilaterally dismantling America’s nuclear warheads (which he has substantially started in his first term), while simultaneously encouraging Iran, et. al., to develop their own nuclear weapons.
How can he remove America from its perch as world economic leader: just increase the Debt enough, and America will fall on its own. DEBT is his secret weapon to deal the desired death blow to America’s prosperity — to cut her down to size, and to render her an equal, impotent member of the world community.
Such is an outcome one would advocate for if one believed that America’s greatness was the result of pilfering resources from other countries for centuries (i.e., that America profited from its colonialist ventures), combined with the belief that we didn’t actually “build this” country.
So few Americans seem to grasp what’s happening that there’s practically no opposition to Obama’s plan. Don’t count on the Republicans to articulate the issue, even now that Dinesh D’Souza’s film is playing in hundreds of theaters around the country. The silence is deafening.
Maybe if enough of us see the film, it might make a dent. Regardless, go see it immediately! At least you’ll know.

This documentary was very well done. It is based on President Obama's real words from his own book, and answered questions as to why he makes the decisions he does in the United States. Wonderfully done. Should be seen by all, no matter which political party with whom you share views.

Every voter who wants to cast a responsible ballot in November should see this movie. I consider myself well-informed, but I left this movie with more knowledge of the belief system and reasons why BHO believes what he does and the belief system behind his actions,, which will take our country into medicrity and ruin. When I walked out of the theater, I felt sick to my stomach and sad to know that if we do not make the proper choice in November to keep our country on the path of freedom and growth, we will remain on the path of ruin and headed toward poverty as a nation. There was so much great information presented in this movie, I plan to see it a second time.

This movie is NEEDED by and for this country. It is an eye-opener regarding the direction Obama is trying to take this country. The author of the book is easy to understand and quite believable in that he went to great lengths to find and uncover the truth about a president we don't know and the media has never taken the time to investigate. Before the election in November, it a movie I would recommend for everyone to see in order to cast a responsible and informed vote.

This documentary by a 1st-gen American (DSouza) about a 1st-gen American (Obama) lays out the thinking that guided and continues to guide the president's actions. Must see to understand what happened in 2008 and since.

2016: Obama’s America

One of my regular contributors on 2nd Amendment Issues dropped me a note about the movie 2016: Obama’s America. It was scheduled for a limited one day run. As I forwarded the email to several friends, two wanted to go with me. So we bought tickets for the first showing. Later another friend wanted to go and asked me to buy his ticket online and I discovered they had added more showings and more theatres. It was pre-sold, according to Fandango, accounting for 35% of all pre-sale tickets, more than any other movie by a long shot.
I suppose that speaks to the very organized conservative seniors likely to attend this movie, who plan and budget and follow through with their plans.
Reviews have called it, “The most interesting movie hitting theaters this weekend” “a right-wing political documentary” “poised to earn as much as $6 million this weekend which could put it in the top ten at the box office” “The movie is doing well – so well in fact that some are comparing it to Michael Moore’s blockbuster Fahrenheit 9/11, the unabashedly liberal, anti-Bush documentary released before the 2004 elections.” “Entertainment Weekly predicting a gross of $7.2 million or more. This would be unprecedented for a documentary.” “To my surprise, the theater, which probably could seat up to 1,000 people, was packed.”
“Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan And Ayn Rand: Now That's the Ticket” by Richard M. Salsman, says, ”According to Rotten Tomatoes, only two major film critics have reviewed the film, Andy Webster at the New York Times and Joe Leydon at Variety. Webster points out that the film leaves out any Obama supporters in making its case that Obama pursues “anti-colonial” policies because of the influence of his father. Leydon says the film is a good Cliff’s Notes on conservatives’ case against Obama.
Based on a 2010 Forbes cover article by Dinesh D’Souza and his books “The Roots of Obama’s Rage and Obama’s America.” The movie did a pretty thorough job of painting Obama’s history. As D’Souza built his theory of Obama’s anti-colonial policies, he did a good job of providing facts and background without forcing conclusions, merely explaining his ideas.
The question is why would Obama have “a dream from his father that the sins of colonialism be set right and America be downsized,” when he barely knew his father. Could his relationships with Frank Marshall Davis, Roberto Unger, Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers have painted his dreams into a fantasy of who his father was and what he would want for America today?
Obama’s sister should have burst some of his idealize impression of his father by telling Obama the reality was his father had been an abusive alcoholic who had been in many accidents causing injury to many people, and eventually dying himself in an auto accident. He had five wives and many children pretty much left to fend for themselves.
Conservative writer Dinesh D’Souza, is being successfully marketed to audiences who are staunchly anti-Obama and suspect the president of radical anti-capitalist views. D’Souza claims he’s “not trying to bash Obama in any crude way” and the film is partly to promote D’Souza’s earlier work. D’Souza has a Reagan era association and Dartmouth Ivy League education that lends him credibility that allows him to influence an audience that is already in staunch opposition to the president. By connecting Obama to the men connected to the president, such as Edward Said, Frank Marshall Davis, and Roberto Unger, D’Souza exposes Obama’s guilt by association. Your mother always told you to choose your friends carefully because you are known by the company you keep.
One reviewer wrote,”2016: Obama’s America will do well among those who believe all of the lies told about the president over the past four years on the right. It’s not yet clear that the film will impact the upcoming election in any real way. Fahrenheit didn’t, despite speculation at the time that it would create the public outcry necessary for George W. Bush to lose his re-election campaign. Still, a crowd that enjoys a propaganda film about a president they already dislike may leave the film more fired up to vote against him.”
First I would like to know what this reviewer believes to be lies? It seems to me Dinesh D’Souza has provided pretty solid facts. Many were straight from Obama’s own book “Dreams From My Father”
He goes on to say, “No matter what D’Souza says, there isn’t any evidence to support his theory that the president hates America.” Obama has repeatedly proven he hates the America of the past and is trying to transform it into his own vision for the future. His repeated apologies to countries he feels America has slighted, not saluting the flag, showing disrespect to our friends and even policy. Like reducing nuclear arms levels below Russia, not trying to stop Iran’s nuclear program, not supporting Israel, jumping on Libya but not wanting to get involved in Syria. Even the destruction of American independence on foreign oil, and support of South American oil reflect a turn against America. Time and again he supports anti-American economy and foreign relations.
Second the people seeing this movie are responsible Americans who don’t need to get fired up to go to vote. They are always the most predictable voters even though they struggle through pain of walking with canes and walkers, spend their limited resources for gas to get to the polls and have difficulty reading the small print on ballots. They vote because their generation has paid the cost of earning the right to vote and don’t take the responsibility lightly.
One columnist writes that the film says, “Obama wants a smaller America, a poorer America, Obama's goal is to downsize America in the name of global justice. This is deeply rooted in the anti-colonialism thinking he inherited from his father, whom Obama didn't spend much time with at all. Obama also wants to redistribute wealth away from the rich and toward the poor. Obama wants to weaken NASA. He refuses to take a meaningful step against Iran's nuclear ambition. Obama is pro-Islam and unfriendly to Israel. He is willing to betray Britain, the key ally of the US, and to let Argentina reclaim the Falkland Islands. Obama is heavily influenced by Frank Marshall Davis, a noted American communist.”
If these are not all representative of Obama’s agenda I would like to see some evidence.
After his election I wanted to like Obama. I wanted him to be a change for good. I didn’t vote for him and had plenty of doubt, but still held hope that the American people had made the right choice.
One scene in the movie spelled out my fear for the future. Obama leaned into the ear of a Soviet leader and said once he was re-elected in 2012 he would be able to anything he wanted. He would be free to take full control and run America the way he wanted. That is scary! He already is making executive decisions no other president would have had the nerve to make. He thinks he can bypass Congress and do anything he wants to do. Obama’s dream for America’s future is not my dream and I hope not the dream of most Americans.
We need fiscal responsibility and a strong defense. As Reagan said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.” We need a strong Medicare and Social Security, Our seniors have contributed their entire lives to be able to rely on this in their golden years. We need a strong economy to generate jobs that will allow the next generation to build their retirement nest egg. Education is key in building America’s future. Not only for the children, but for adults who need to be retrained for relevant employment. Health care is out of control. Not only do we spend the most for our healthcare, we are not getting the best results compared to the rest of the world. We are over medicated and wrongly advised on nutrition. TV advertising dictates what we put in our mouths. And energy needs to be available at a reasonable cost which means not depending on the climate in the rest of the world for supply. While we have been the mother trying to maintain peace in the world, we need to pay more attention to our own country and be less willing to jump into every issue around the world. We do need to make it clear Iran can not build nuclear weapons destined to wipe out their enemies. Immigration and illegals need to be controlled. It makes the system a farce if you grant rights to those who have broken the law and tried to jump the line. This country needs to maintain law fairly. There are so many more issues to be addressed. But more than anything I want the government to downsize and stay out of our lives as much as possible. I want to be able to hope for a brighter future for my children. Right now with Obama leading the way I only see a lowering of all standards with America becoming weak and ineffective. Of her people suffering without work and living on the public dole. Of hospitals overcrowded and understaffed as doctors leave the profession.
We need a strong leader with traditional family values who can lead this country back to prosperity and honor.

The movie fills in most of the holes in the Obama story. It provides a credible rationale for his anti-colonialist world view and puts his actions and associations throughout his lifetime into perspective. This is a must see.
