This movie is on many lists as one of the best movies ever made and I agree. It ranks up there with Citizen Kane and Casablanca when it comes to a perfect movie. Great direction, dancing and a clever story about the transition from silent moves to early talkies make this a must see for anyone interested in film histroy. My cudos to Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly for their hard work and artistic ingenuity. Excellent performances by Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, Donald O'Connor and Jean Hagen as the silent star with "the voice".

So glad that TCM and Fathom Events arranged to bring this movie back to the theaters. There was nothing like seeing it on the big screen the way it originally premiered to audiences back then. This movie will remain as one of the greatest of all time. Can't for more movie classics to be brought back to theaters.

If I could give 10 stars, it wouldn't be enough. Seeing one of the best musicals of all time on the big screen was a treat I will not soon forget. The characters are done so well, it brings the viewer right into the story. The color, sound, and clarity was alarmingly vibrant. I really enjoyed Miss Reynolds' intro interview. She is just as cute and perky as ever and what an amazing actress! I would pay double the price to see it again!

I have seen a lot of musicals and old movies and this is by far my favorite! Gene Kelly's dancing is phenomenal, and everyone else in the movie is fantastic too! Don't miss seeing it in theaters! It was a wonderful experience.
