It was great (being a movie). I've seen a number of their live shows and this is a great way to advertise them. There is no substitute for live but I think this will light a spark for others to go to the live shows.

As a fan of Cirque live shows, the close-ups and unique camera angles really made you feel a part of the experience like you could never get at a live show, even in the first row! And I loved being able to see bits of a wide variety of shows, ones I've seen and have not seen. Getting the Blu-Ray or DVD when it comes out, but it won't be the same without the 3D.

I cannot say enough about this movie. It was more than I expected. Being able to see through the camera was amazing. Gives you a whole new experience of the what the performers go through. We never stopped smiling!

If you have ever been to a Cirque du Soleil show, you know the memorable experiences they create. Lights, sights and sounds are carefully orchestrated into a complex tapestry that only leave you breathless. Every time you watch this, it is like the first time. An experience for a family or group to share.

I would not recommend this movie to anyone that has not seen a live Cirque Du Soleil show. The bodies flying around and bending in ways that only Cirque performers can when combined with seemingly impossible camera angles and 3D effects could very easily lead someone to a state of disbelief. The 3d effects are so masterfully done that it feels as though one could very easily reach out and touch the performers. The audience is very close to being surrounded by the spectacle that is this film. Cameron and Adamson successfully combine all of the best elements of a live Cirque show with the modern 3d movie going experience. If you have seen a live Cirque show the price of admission is but a pittance. If you have not seen a live Cirque show you might not believe your eyes. It is truly an amazing visual and aural experience. Maybe even to the point of overwhelming disbelief to the uninitiated.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, amazing acrobatics, amazing 3d effects

My spouse and I treated our family (grown kids & spouses) last night as a Christmas gift. I have been looking forward to this event and was surprised the theatre wasn't packed (we arrived an hour early even though we had pre-purchased tickets). It was everything I had hoped and more. The choreography was absolutely amazing, the movement, the creativity, the performers grace/strength/precision was mesmerizing. I highly recommend it to everyone!
