My Grandchildren and I LOVED it. We laughed so much. Very good movie. Their ages are 9 and 10. I would recomend this movie for sure.

The movie was excellent- the actors were great. Adam Sandler is great and I really enjoy all of his movies. My girls loved the movie as well, they watch a lot movies once they come out

A while back, I asked my daughter if she wanted to go see this movie. She firmly stated "no". Said it did not look good at all. Well, I am 39 years old and I guess the kid in me still loves animation to this day. Plus, I love movies. I see about 4-5 a week. I simply just could not get into this movie. The storyline was dumb. The acting was ok, but still couldnt save this movie. Sure, there were a couple of LOL moments. But, not many. I actually fell asleep for a moment in this movie. I guess I should stress that my favorite animated movies of all time are The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Megamind and Despicable Me. And not in any particular order. So, I do know what great animated films are. I saw another comment where a lady said this was good humor for the kids...and that is true for most of the movie, but there are a couple of "suggestive" things that are said in the movie. . I dont want to make them sound like they are THAT suggestive, but suggestive enough to make me wonder why it's in a kids movie. Just my opinion.

My daughter (8 yrs old) and I loved this movie. It was well written, voiced by some very funny actors and was funny for all age groups.

We decided at the last minute to take the kids to see Hotel Transylvania. What a blast! It has something for everyone. Such at treat at this time of the year to find something age appropriate for the little kids!

Sometimes sitting through a kid movie can be painful! This film was laugh-out-loud funny, the actors were excellent, the animation was cute and there was actually a plot!

We were a group of ages 30 through 60 who went to see this and were rolling in the aisles. It was fun, funny and great fun! The music had us wanting to dance, the jokes were hilarious and the visual pranks and prat falls were hysterical. You've gotta see this.

I am surprised by how positive some of the other user reviews have been. My kids and I could not bear to sit through this movie. While there were indeed some funny moments, the story and the dialogue were weak at best. This movie just does not compete with any of the major animated movies out there. It was a real disappointment as far as we were concerned and is not worth the time.

My husband and I took our 3 boys to the movie. All of us enjoyed the movie. My husband said he wants to buy the movie when it comes out on DVD. There are some "adult" jokes in it but i like that because it keeps my attention during the movie.
