The action built throughout the movie. This Bond is different, in that he is believable. It is not all about gadgets and Union Jack parachutes. It is about the gritty, real, bloody, and painful world of special ops. Craig brings another layer to the character, in that he seems to struggle with what is real, what is loyalty, what is duty and honor. Bardem is my favorite actor ... whenever he is the villian and this is no different. He is deliciously evil. I am usually pretty good at figuring out the end game in a movie, however, this had several twists I was not prepared for, twists all the way to the end. I saw it in IMAX, and if you can I would suggest this too. Great movie!

This movie is sure to please any Bond fan. I thought the story and acting were absolutely perfect. There are also some nods to previous Bond films, which I think is fitting tribute for the 50th anniversary. I would suggest seeing it in IMAX, if possible, because the big screen and booming sound are a perfect match for Bond. Cant wait for the next one.

THEE best Bond flick ever. Our first experience seeing an IMAX presentation. What a terrific first time experience.

1st part of the movie blew me away. Javier Bardem did a great job for his villain role. Craig was a smooth 007. What i didn't like was the 1/4 ending part of the story. The story concentrated in London. For me, Casino Royale is best Daniel Craig bond movie. But compared to Quantum of solace, this is much better. I hope Daniel craig will still portray as 007.

First up...
The bad things... Why was the Bond intro played in the last... Why is Bond weak throughout... Why was the climax so dry... Most importantly where are the gadgets and girls...
The good things... Dialogues were definitely top notch... The locales were stunning... Villain is cool... Good to see the cars are back in business...
May be all the bad things revolved around the screenplay... Time for Spielberg or Cameron coming into the picture for one of the most revered icons of film world...
Even though Bond is 50 he does not require any favors from anyone to regroup... But that needs to be told convincingly... Hope the plots are better told next time...

In this 50th Bond franchise anniversary tour de force, Daniel Craig is the most human Bond we have ever seen. He is also the best Bond ever, period. This film is most notable for unusually rich character development for a Bond film, one of the all-time best chase sequences ever, very imaginative credits sequence, easily understandable plot, constant engagement mixed with dramatic tension and many placements of Bond memorabilia from films past. A must see!

Daniel Craig and an exceptional supporting cast don't disappoint, quite riveting. Javier Bardem is a superb creepy bad guy, and Ralph Fiennes makes the most of his limited role as an incoming bureaucrat. I appreciate the way this movie extends the back-story as the aging Bond deals with the wear and tear of being a super spy as well as getting a look into his past.
Moore Warren IMAX is an absolute pleasure to view this or any other movie in...

Bond is back. No spoiler alert her, but the end was excellent, and well needed. Nothing wrong with the past but this moves the franchise in a great new direction. Wife noted that Bond was less focused on romance and more on what he does well - action and killing. Note his frailities are more directly addressed in this film - brough right out into the open.
Excellent movie, well worth the price of admission!

Missed all the gadgets of past Bond films. Would have liked a little more humor and longer romantic scenes as they were very brief and ended abruptly. But overall a very good movie that kept you very interested, even for 143 minutes!

This is the best Bond film I have seen! Great dialogue and Daniel Craig is my second favorite actor that plays James Bond. Sean Connery is still #1. I thought the movie gave a great insight into James' background and introducing new characters. Javier Barden's portrayal as the villan is superburb!

Like most reviewers have said this is a 50th anniversary of Bond and so it goes back to the basics and origins of the character and introducing us to "new" actors playing classic characters (M, Q, MoneyPenny).
The locals weren't AS exotic as say Casino Royale. Overall I liked the movie (especially on IMAX) but would I buy the DVD? No, a bit slow paced at times. Would I recommend yes.
But this movie works overall because of Daniel Craig. Now that the reboot of the franchise is done with this movie...I can't WAIT 'til the next one. As James Bond WILL RETURN :)
And great movie soundtrack title song "SkyFall" sung by suprisingly to me....ADELLE
P.S. - And the building where MI-6 is shown....is the REAL building of where MI-6 is located in London.

007 WAS WONDERFUL! I AGREE WITH OTHER REVIEWERS IT WAS A MIXTURE OF "OLD SCHOOL BOND" WITH "NEW SCHOOL BOND"..
Action keeps you on the edge of your seat and background info on Bond. Craig and Dench are perfect pairings and play off each other very well.
Other new characters are also well written and well acted.
We saw this film at an IMAX theater which intensified the experience!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, lots of action

It is great to have (spoiler alert) a little insight into the evolution of James Bond we haven't seen in previous iterations. This movie covered that ground well, while still giving Bond the humanity the character has always craved, but been denied in previous movies. I've lived through and followed the Bond franchise since its inception. Connery was the best Bond ever, even though his Bond was campy, in the way many 60s movies were somewhat campy. Skyfall was everything I've come to expect from a Bond movie, with a little spice added by Daniel Craig's excellent acting.
Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Connery, perhaps better. He brings an emotional aspect to Bond that was previously left out in favor of a cold, aloof Bond. Craig pulls off cold and aloof, while allowing the emotion to show just below, and sometimes right at, the surface. I hope he is able to stay with the franchise for years to come.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

For a 2 hour and 23 minute movie, moved quickly! Thoroughly enjoyed this Bond movie - great story even seems like Fleming's own.

All around great Bond flick. Javier Bardem did an excellent job as the villain. Craig was superb as always. This film should please both new fans and old.

The minute I started seeing the previews for this while attending other movies I knew I had to go see this. Daniel Craig is a great actor. Never mind all the other wonderful actors that are in this movie (i.e., Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, etc.).
It was action packed from the start and didn't stop until the end and - I see movies on a weekly basis and it was fantastic. Well worth seeing in IMAX theatre also.
I was excited about seeing it and this movie and was satisfied when i left the movie theatre.
Run to the theatre now to see Sky Fall.
