The avengers is a rare breed of action movie, filled with comical moments sure to make any viewer bust out laughing(or at least crack a smile). There are a few short scenes that flash back to specific heroes pasts, which is a perfect fit since this is a movie about a team of heroes. A lot of us comic book fans loved the over the top action sequences in which a few of the heroes even used combination moves(combining abilities for a stunning result)! Lots of funny moments and a few dramatic moments round out possibly the best superhero movie I have ever seen. If your a comic book fan or just a fan of action movies then this is a must see movie!!
Pros well paced, great actors

Imax 3d with this movie was the bomb. Some of my favorite Marvel characters in a great story line with graphics that will knock you out of your seat. I must see movie.

im not too much into comic book heroes... but this movie was totally kick a**!!! i dont think it needed the 3d aspect of it. the imax experience was enough. my boyfriend took me and i really enjoyed it.

This movie was same oh same oh, bad guy good guys. Even some of the disasters were old hash from other movies like Transformers - I swear the thing flying around was used in transformers. Didn't he-man cartoons have that open realm thing. Don't know what all the big deal for this was or why people put all their money in it. Dark Shadows was much more entertaining and more original.
We went to a new Imax theatre with the largest screen in Oklahoma. We were really impressed with that and the 3d though I got a little queasy at times.
Cons not original, too much hype for same oh same oh, some actors think they are all that and more

It is an action film based on super heroes. Action is what I wanted and action is what I got. It was Awesome!!!!!
