My 10yr old son was very excited to see this movie. It was a decent movie until the end. The last line was so out of character for this audience and story line. Why did thegay agenda need to be added to a children's movie. It was really out of line and inappropriate!

The only thing I didn't like was I really didn't think it was that child appropriate there where kids in the audience who were frighten granite their parents should have looked into it better but that was my one issue. I really did like the story line.

Fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon. 3D works well for most scenes. Some cute jokes for the grownups mixed in the dialog.

I took my little brother, who is 14 and he loved the movie. I love being able to take him to a movie, where he laughs out loud!

This movie was a bit slow and unevenful compared to Coraline. The 3D effects were extremely lacking and I can't reccomend paying the extra ammount for watching this in 3D as there are no scenes that actually jump out of the screen. The movie is very short, wich is probably a good thing considering the lack of depth to the story line and individual characters.
This movie is fine for the younger ones for a short afternoon movie trip but probably won't be so memorable for the adults. I would actually like to commend the writers for actually including an alternative character in the film to show the youth that there isn't j

The makers of this movie thought it appropriate to include homosexual content in this kids movie. Along with other heavy themes. One being, Religious zealots who persecute someone who is different (gee wonder what they were trying to say with that)? The movie was funny and entertaining, however they waited till the end to bring up the homosexual content and by than it's too late to walk out, the movie is pretty much over. The makers should be ashamed. This is not the type of content (inappropriate language, subject matter and sexual talk.) At one point one character is watching and pausing an aerobic type for sexual purposes. I don't want to bring my children to see that kind of stuff and to wait till the end in my opinion is intentional and sinister. This movie IMO is not suitable for kids younger than middle school.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Took my daughter to see this movie yesterday and we just loved it. I would recommend anyone to take their child. There were quite a few adults that were there without children too. Please if you Parents are going to bring a baby, step out if it's crying!!!!!

We had fun at this movie. Went opening night to 3-D showing and found an almost empty theatre. Mostly parents with kids in various ages. Not to many seniors like myself with their youngest (20) with them. As animation fans we wanted to see what was up. Some of the younger ones in the crowd screamed and others had a hard time understanding the story, but all it seems liked the zombies. Very smooth movement of the characters and some of the backgrounds and their movement were very good. Overall it had some great laughs from all and some good visuals. Not a Pixar as some suggested but good enough to warrant the money spent.

Cons took to long at beginning setting up story

I took my 5 year old & 8 year old to see this. They loved it. There were some parts that were a little scary. I was even creeped out a bit. The only downside to the movie were the sexual references, which I thought were completely inappropriate for a movie marketed for kids. Not 5 minutes into the movie, the mom asks Norman what he was watching on tv & his answer was "Sex & violence". Then one of the male characters said he had a boyfriend. My 8 year old was asking questions about it & I just thought it was unnecessary. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was funny when he said it. But why even mention it when you know children are going to be watching it? In conclusion, the movie was great! It was very entertaining. I'd definitely recommend seeing it in 3D.

Great family friendly scary movie. Good story and great lesson for kids and adults. It's ok to be a little different, to embrace what makes us unique and appreciate that in others.
