I really enjoyed this movie. Lerman, Watson and Miller were all terrific. The storyline is believable, yet has enough threads winding in and out to keep your mind fully engaged.

Chbosky brings genuine feeling to his variation on teenage angst and unrequited love, developing soulful characters and a funny but melancholy narrative. Regardless of the viewer's proximity to his or her own high school experience, "Perks" seems to get it right, precisely because it's not about a specific time or place. Teenage wallflowers, past and present alike, will feel tingles of recognition, and pure pleasure. A must see.

Not for those who want their entertainment only warm and fuzzy, this movie doesn't ignore pain while it maps out ways of learning and living hope. There were a few moments when Emma Watson reminded me she is Emma Watson (instead of being Sam), but that won't keep me from watching movie this movie again.
The soundtrack fit. The filming was intimate, most often placing the audience in the position of an unnamed and comfortable character in the film. This film had some of the most gracefully managed flashbacks I've experienced.
Pros well paced, great story, meaningful

Amazing. Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of my all-time favorite books and I was hesitant to see the movie because I thought it might ruin it. But Stephen Chobosky did a fantastic job of bringing the story to the screen. I fell in love with the characters all over again.

One of the best parts about this film was the Art Direction! They really made it look authentic and felt like the 90's without seeming to out of date. Great story too.

This movie made me feel like i wasn't alone, i loved it so much! it changed my life, i mean i've read the book loads of times; but this movie gives me hope for new beginnings. Thank You so much Emma Watson for being so persistent and getting this movie made, it is much need. I can't wait for more and more young people to see this movie, and try and be more understanding, that weird kid is not just that weird kid you pick on we all have stories, no one of us are any stranger than any other some of us, are just honest with who we are which is so rare in high school these days. Thank you again for this movie. xx
