The movie was an overall good movie. The special effects were great especially if you decide to watch it IMAX 3D. The movie had some fun humor in it. My wife thought the climax was too simple and the ending could have been better. I agree that the climax could have had more struggle and the ending came too fast. However the movie was very enjoyable with the IMAX 3d experience.

Very entertaining , a story known to all and it comes alive in the magic of IMAX 3 D. The giants are very realistic and entertaining and the movie has lots of surprises.

Book fairy tale brought to screen. My husband and our 2
Daughters 7 and 9. We thought it might be too much for them
but it turned out it was so beautifully done we were all transported
through the pages of a book.

story moves along quickly, there were no lulls in action. i wasn't thrilled with the choice of actor for the role of jack. however, he won me over! Nicholas Hoult was excellent. I love Stanley Tucci in all of his movies--so versatile.

I took my two girls (9 and 11) to see this movie in IMAX 3D and it was freaking awesome. We all loved it. The story line and acting was great. Lots of action! Was worth the price to see it on the big screen. Highly recommend.
