This movie was everything they said it was going to be and more. The acting was amazing, the special effects were phenomenal, and the story was solid. The only problem was the camera work was a little hard to follow during the big fight scenes.

I was blown away! I've been waiting thirty-five years for them to make this movie and I was NOT disappointed! it had plenty of action but also plenty of story development between the characters. It had to be modernized for today's time but stayed true to the characters and paid homage to their roots throughout the movie. It was the best Marvel movie made so far.

Excellent movie - I am not familiar with the characters (except Iron Man), but the premise of the movie was well thought out. The writing was funny and kept a great pace - no real slow movement throughout. The villain was well-played and creepy and the chemistry between all the actors was harmonious. This is a must see and the 3D, though not overly used, was effective. I'm sure we'll be purchasing this for our collection when it comes out - which is a rarity for us. Stay through till the end - more to see after the credits. Great fun and an excellent way to kick off the summer movie season!

The Avengers was an all around enternaing movie. Spectacular is one of the words that I can use to describe it. It will exite all of your senses and surpass of your sci fi expectations. A must see that will surely become a cult classic. The story continues....

I thought the movie was fantastic. The story was great even though we probably would like to know how Loki was saved, but it didn't change the fact that it was awesome. I was a little confused as to why the Hulk would try and kill his friends, but he came through in the end.

I don't know if it's possible to make the Hulk funny but they did. This movie had so much action and adventure. The story line was great, although you had to see Thor first to kind of know the main vilan, which I didn't. There were a few scenes after the movie was over that I didn't know about, thankfully I stayed. You get to see the next vilan and all of the Avengers eating at a restaurant. I'm totally a fan of this movie. Great job! Love Tony Stark! The fight scene at the end is so freaking awesome. You have to see this movie in 3D! Hulk-SMASH!

I didn't anticipate all of the humor which was a bonus! As usual, Robert Downey Jr. Was awesome and the hulk was super and really understated by Mark Ruffalo. Loved it and I would definitely see it again. The 3-D was ok but not necessary to see it in 3-D to enjoy the movie.

Wow, I was not expecting this movie to be that good, and i walked out of wanting to buy another ticket it and watch it again! Love all the superhero movies and especially looking forward to Spider-Man but I can not believe that anything will beat this movie for all around entertainment. It was funny, it had incredible special FX, it had a good storyline and it had great acting ....oh, and it had a REALLY GOOD looking Hulk -- it didn't look fake this time! Unbelievable, there were people of all ages in this movie, men and women, boys and girls and we all had the same impression walking out of that 3D adventure ....awesome. You need to see it. We saw The Avengers in 3D - definitely see the 3D version! It was very fast moving whereby the 2 hrs 20 min flew by. great special effects.

See this 3-D on the Big Screen - FOR SURE! Don't wait for the DVD release! Lots of action that will be missed on the small screen. The humor amidst the action, makes the movie even more fun. The crowd was clapping at the conclusion!

Really fun to watch and I can't wait for the next episode of this movie.... And trying to figutre out whose their next villain actor will be.... For me. watching good movie like this brings the family closer together and spend quality time with each other.... As in two thumbs up....

You know how you see the preview for a movie and you think...Wow, I gotta see this on the bigscreen....only to see it and go...I could've waited for DVD. Not this one. This movie kicks ass. I am a harsh critic when it comes to special effects and such. The Avengers did not dissapoint in any way. I loved it. It was loud, explosive, funny, and just plain awesome. It was actually a movie going experience. Go see it.

This was well worth the wait, the money and the two and a half hours. This was a perfectly balanced movie. Character development, dialogue, intensity, comic relief...it had EVERYTHING. To say this was the best comic movie ever is an understatement, and considering how good Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Iron Man were. The 3D was well used, not over or underdone. We didn't get an overdose of Samuel L Jackson, which I was worried about. Overall, this might be the best action movie in YEARS!!

This movie was excellent. Funny for an action flick. Really brought out each character and their story even if you didn't see the other movies. I was questioning seeing it in 3D after some reviews online. Wow I am glad I went with it. Don't know where the complaints were from. Excellent effect and really worked. Loved every aspect of this movie and at over two hours I was still upset it was over. Will probably go again and I never do that.
