Movie was great, after Iron Man 3 saw GI Joe. Full of action and picked right up after the first movie. Hope it continues.

This movie is long on special effects, non-stop bombing, and fatalities. The story will appeal to the younger set. I found it amusing that the female GI Joes go into combat wearing full eye make-up and dark red lipstick. Anyway, the movie was fun and offered non-stop action.

The original GI Joe movie had a lot going on. This doesn't and suffers from it. The story is less complex, with fewer back stories. Its a middling action film. Don't spend extra money on the 3D or IMAX. The camera doesn't really do anything to justify any extra visual effects, so if you go just see it on a normal screen, but make sure its a big screen and get a big popcorn. I miss the original cast, especially Joseph Gordon Levitt. The Rock is fine as is Bruce Willis, but I was hoping for more. There's nothing inspiring here. Its ok for what it is. This is more of a summer vacation movie than a blockbuster. Its clearly a set up for the next installment. So think of it as a middle child. In all honesty, many in the audience applauded when it ended, but not me.

If you are going to a movie based on a toy line from Hasbro expecting something other than an explosion-tastic, goofy good time you need to check that expectation at the door to the theater. This is a popcorn movie... a no-thinking needed movie... you want an actual plot that makes sense head to another movie cause you won't find it here. But who cares... I wanted to see Snake Eyes battle Storm Shadow in slo-mo, ninja sword glory and that is exactly what I got.

Not worth the price of admission on regular version...nope. Nothing stands out, its not horrible, but it isn't good either. If you wasted money on the IMAX or IMAX 3-D...sorry you really wasted your money there. Not a worthy successor to the first film at all, which was an okay movie, hands above this sequel though.

This was a good action movie. The special effects were good, the acting, especially by Bruce Willis and the Rock was pretty good. Lots of action, machine guns, swordplay, artillery, tanks, explosions, reminds me of a Michael Bay movie.
You gotta go see this one!
