I walked into this movie not expecting much, yet as I sat through it I realized that it was actually pretty funny, and a good movie. Maybe even better than the other Madagascar's. Ben Stiller and Chris Rock are funny as usual, and I found myself pretty really enjoying this movie. In some scenes I just started cracking up, but yeah this movie is really for all ages, and is a good animation movie. I saw it in the second-run theaters so absolutely worth it. Overall I really enjoyed this movie. Good family flick.

Took my two kids (ages 9 & 12 1/2 and their two friends, also ages 9 & 12 1/2) to see this movie. Loved being able to laugh with my kids and to not have to shudder at inappropriate scenes or language.

A little slow in the middle, I thought, but overall as entertaining as all the other Madagascar movies. Plus the Circus Afro song that is guaranteed to play in your head for the rest of the day!

My 4 and 5 year olds LOVED it, as they liked the first two Madagascar movies. The villainess is more cartoonish than scary, so this shouldn't lead to any bedtime concerns. The story is a bit thin at times, but it was fun. Martin Short's Sealion is a cute addition.

It started out really fast and good then after 45 minutes it got slow and I fell asleep for about 15 minutes then it ended pretty good. Really liked it because it was just right for my kids who are 4 and 6. There were also alot of great colors and acts done by the animals. Overall, a great family movie.

I went to see the movie with my husband and kids and we all laughed so much and there were these parts where you could really see the genuine amusement and joy in their eyes. So I would definitely recommend this movie to adults as much as for children of all ages.

Awesome! The animation artistry of "Madagascar 3" is at its best under the big top, all cotton candy fluff and razzle dazzle. The character development of this edition is the best of the rest as well.

Overall the movie was entertaining- it was humorous and had a lot to action to keep the kids involved- the only draw back was some jokes were too difficult for most kids to get who are not at least middle school age.

I'm a Big Sister and I took my Little Sister to see Madagascar 3. Both of us really enjoyed it. The music fit well with the plot, the characters were entertaining, and the special effects were fun to watch. The movie dragged a little bit in the middle but once it headed into the conclusion, it came up strong with a positive message about loyalty and friendship. And we're both still singing "dum-dum-da-da-da-da-dum-dum: Circus!" A very clever and entertaining movie, with something to like for adults as well as kids.

This movie has got to be the best movie for families in a long while, if you haven't seen it and your planning to trust me you are going to want to probably watch this in 3D. I lucked out because my wife wears glasses and the 3D glasses isn't the best for someone who already wears glasses. I don't want to say to much but watch it in 3D.
