Took 12 year old grandson to see Lorax. Personally I don't like the loss of brilliance the glasses cause, the 3D helped, but that didn't overide the inability to keep us focused on the movie. Would recommend for the under 10 crowd, a real yawner in some parts for the adults, good story overall but I won't be buying the DVD.

My 9 year old enjoyed it. The animation was great. I was unimpressed with the content as was my 14 year old. I was expecting a laugh out loud kind of movie and found few places that really made me laugh. I still think it is worth taking the younger kids to, but is somewhat lacking for the older kids and adults.

The kids loved the animated story and enjoyed another angle on a popular classic. For adults, it was missing some of the adult-level humor that makes these types of movies fun at all levels. The environmental theme was good and left us with plenty of conversation about how to take care of the earth. Perhaps an earth day connection would have been an added bonus.

Lots of fun, great animation and dialog. I heard kids as young as 4 years old laughing out loud...and the grown ups got a chuckle too. Very entertaining. The 3D wasn't great, so save the money and just opt for regular viewing.

The kids enjoyed the movie, but I was looking forward to the same level of enjoyment as Despicable Me and it just wasn't there. The music was not up to par at all and pretty annoying, as was the chase scene at the end. Must all movies have chase scenes? But kids aren't critics like adults, so it was a "good" afternoon time spent with them.

See it with a child see it with a friend.
A fun-filled roller-coaster ride of laughs. Danny Devito and only Devito could do the Lorax.
Despite the fun of this movie kids and adults will take away a serious message about our impact on the environment.

My families first 3D movie. My 5 year old reached towards the screen a few times. I even jumped a little when the steps sprung from the wall so that was done very well. The story was great and done really well. Couple of spooky spots as my daughter had to hide her eyes a couple of times. LOL
Just a good story and great message all wrapped up in a way to keep you interested for the entire movie.

I took my 4 year old to see this movie yesterday and we both enjoyed it. The message behind it was so great and put in a way to where she even understood exactly what was being said. It was great I would reccommend seeing this!

...in all the right Seussian ways that one would want it to be. The 3D enhances the animation without being obtrusive. Another top notch family animated tale using the creative illustrations and scenery of the good Dr. Seuss as it's foundation. Even the environmental bend is not overly political which allows all to enjoy the story and characters. Well done and well worth seeing in 3D on the big screen. Bring the whole family ... bring them tall and bring them small ....bring them all ...hear my call...Dr. Seuss' The Lorax will work it's Loraxian wonders on everyone you know. A rhino horn up.

The movie was awsome. Everyone at the theater was very happy and nice...the concession stands were clean and friendly to our kids..and most important the restrooms were clean!!! we purchased our tickets offline because we were afraid of selling out...but honest with having children we were able to walk in get the tickets, popcorn, and to the bathroom in just minutes...it took alot of the time waiting in line away...it was great

I took my son and daughter and they loved the movie. I would not recommend it in 3D because the movie was either blurry or out of focus. We had to take the 3D glasses off and watch the movie without them. But overall the movie was excellent, a good moral to the story.

I took grandchildren, ages 10 and 6. This was their first 3-D movie, and I am a huge fan of 3-D movies! From the beginning, the kids were laughing, reaching up to try to catch things in the "air." And from the beginning, the message was quite clear...save the earth. They both got it. A great message wrapped up in a fun way that held attention. There was just enough discomfort when the animals had to leave their home because the greedy humans were destroying the trees in order to make more and more money, to punch home the seriousness of the topic, but it did not linger on that aspect long enough to be depressing or worrisome for children. Loved the movie. The best Seuss movie so far, in my opinion.

Absolutely one of the best animated films I have ever seen. We took our 3 and a half year old grandson and he was glued to the seat. He smiled and laughed for the entire movie. Amazing grafics and cinematography that I am sure would have made Dr.Suess very proud. By the way we live in Springfield MA and this is where Dr.Suess lived and wrote all his famous books and on March 2nd (his 108th birthday) our area had an amazing time celebrating his life at his museum at the Springfield Musuems' famous Bronze sculpture display at the Quadrangle in his honor of all his many famous characters in the life size display from the "Cat in the Hat" to the "Lorax". A must see family movie!!!!

My daughter and her friend went see The Lorax along with my wife and I. I absoluely love the imagination of Dr. Suess and the Movie was not a disappointment at all. I read Dr. Suess almost exclusively to my 11 year when she was younger and this story was one of our favorites. The movie to me maintained my interest throughout and my girls absolutely loved it. I would say that this movie if great for all kids from 4 to 99 years of age. I can hardly wait until they do the movie Yertle The Turtle hopefully soon. Who Speaks for the Trees well...we all do :)

I thought it was very good, & the graphics (esp in 3-D) were amazing. Lots of detail. Humor for all ages, the young & old alike made it worth seeing. I thought it was creative & really liked the singing fish & the cute little bears that lived in the beautiful forest before the trees were chopped down by the Onceler..good analogy..makes ya think!

The previews make it look like this film will take the book and original animated short film to new and dazzling heights, but the reality is, that they couldn't do that. The songs aren't as good, the story gets lost, and pays too much attention to the new character of Mr. O'Hare, and even tries to paint the Onceler as something of a good guy? How can you hire Taylor Swift to do a voice in a film with songs and not have her sing a song? It must be due to some sort of corporate contract...funny how that could happen in a movie about the evils of corporate control of our lives. I think the beloved Dr. Seuss would not have loved this movie, and I didn't either. $82 to take my whole family. The kids liked it enough, but mom and dad could have waited for the video...

Great movie and the 3D was really really good, my boys kept trying to grab things in the air, so funny...great message. My 2.5 year old did get tired of wearing the glasses before it was over but still watched the movie...even though it was blurry...
