saw the movie the Friday it came out and loved it. I think this is the best movie of 2013 so far. It was funny and hardley scary. It was sweet and a little romantic in some parts but mostly funny. I thought it would be good when I saw the trailer and when I saw it was better that good it was amazing. You have to see this movie.

Great chick flic for the guys. It had everything, zombies, gun play, zombies, plot, zombies, cute chicks, zombies, and John Malkovick! what else do you need? Certainly not the "Note Book!" My girl didn't cry a tear and still got a warm fuzzy from the love story embedded in the movie, and me? I got zombies...cool!

It reminded me of 80's romantic comedies. Soundtrack is excellent and the male and female leads are adorable. It is an entertaining film with clever dialouge. I recommend it.

Cute, but not Oscar worthy. If you are looking for some Romeo & Juliet (eg, R and Julie) boy meets girl and fall head over hills, then this works. If you are looking for awesome grapics and special effects, storng story line and A list acting, then you won't like this movie. There are some inconsistencies in the story, for instance, what do they eat when the dead stop eating humans? why ddin't he want to eat her although he was still eating "brains/humans?" With current techology, I think the graphics and special effects could have been better. Some scenes reminded me of a video game a bit. Some parts of the movie were slow. However, there were a few funny lines here and there. Overall, I did like it, but I'm romantic type. I wasn't there to see classic art, so to speak. I do wish the story line was a wee bit better, tho.

Although the movie didn't follow the book completely, as movies rarely do, the screenwriters managed to fit the key elements in to the movie. There was comedy, drama, heart warming scenes, and some decent action sequences. Not too gory for those squeamish people, but still enough zombie ravaging and gunfire to keep most people entertained throughout. The casting choices were great, the lead roles made you fall in love with the characters and you genuinely felt their attraction. Definitely a must see for anyone who loves zombies, but is tired of the generic same old same old of the genre.

This movie is very enjoyable, and I definitely liked seeing a twist to the zombie genre. Not the longest movie ever, but it almost feels like it, in a good way by not wanting it to end. Jonathan Levine did a great job directing this, and I think he is a really good director. Nicholas Hoult, the main character, does such a good job portraying a zombie, and continually getting better throughout the movie. He did a great job in this movie. The rest of the actors did fine, but Hoult is definitely the one to take the show. The story is refreshing and clever, and yes can be looked at as being really weird, but it really works in this movie. It is totally original and is worth your money. If you are debating to go to this or not I suggest to you that you just go with a date, friend, family...whoever, and just enjoy yourselves while watching it. Being both dramatic and funny it is a see for any comedy seeker or zombie lover. The end is awesome, and it is also beautifully directed now that I remember. Check it out. Some zombie blood, guts, and brains but overall it isn't nearly as disturbing as other zombie movies whatsoever, and probably the only PG-13 zombie movie I can recollect from my knowledge. Anyways, check it out.

I saw this movie a couple of months ago at a preview and loved it. I am planning on seeing it again after it opens. There are not too many movies that make me laugh out loud like this one did. I describe it to people as a zombie rom-com. I highly recommend it.
