The F words was just out of control, it was used in some many place that were not even needed. The movie would have been so so much better without it!!!! And I wish there would have been more dancing.

This movie was horrible. Went to a midnight showing had a a few drinks before the movie and killed what little tipsiness I had. This movie was all over the place. The commercials are the best scenes. Hardly any nudity which is what we were all hyped about. I was so excited to see Matthew but he looked like he was on coke the entire movie. There was no character depths. Showgirls can run circles around this film anyday. At least Elizabeth Berkley bared it all. At least showgirls had funny moments, there was a plot line and there was just that nudity. We got from this film what was expected. I didn't get anything out of Magic Mike except I've waited years for Matthew to do a movie like this and it was not worth the wait. Save your money. Go to a all male revue strip club. Better entertainment.

Well, after much anticipation for this movie I was content. It was definitely a fun time for a group of girls, but did lack in some areas. Channing did an amazing job of dancing, as usual. I just wish there was more to showcase his talents. Matthew was entertaining too. Could have used a little more passion. It was definitely written from a guys point of view for sure. A little too much nakedness of girls. This is Magic Mike! We could have used a little more nakedness on the guys instead! The teaming up of Channing and Matthew was the best idea ever!
Pros great actors, fun and fresh
Cons needed more dancing, needed more passion

Went to midnight show and it was so much fun. The movie could have had a lot more dancing numbers, but it was a fun movie to be seen with a mainly female audience. Their is some nudity so don't let your underage daughters go it is rated R for a reason.

Was really looking forward to this movie. Went to a midnight showing, which was fun. If you saw the trailer, you saw all the best parts of the movie. Actors could have used a lot more passion in their acting. Not the kind of movie you wanna see again and again like The Vow or Bridesmaids! So... just average rating.

It was a very good movie the only downside they didn't show the guys front in their thongs often. Everytime they did they quickly showed something else. I saw more of the women in the movie then I wanted to. You will see more of the guys butts then his other part.

Though the story is clichéd, the fact that it was from a male's perspective, made it fresh. Channing Tatum's charm shines through and is quite a good actor...he seems capable of almost any role. I would love to see him in a musical as a modern day Gene Kelly . The supporting casts' acting was surprising good, even though many were wasted.
Based on trailers, one would expect a great deal of dance numbers, as I did. Unfortunately, this was not the case...which I am sure that many will be disappointed.
Pros fresh

If you have nothing better to do this weekend and you’re in to OMG beefcake-y guys, definitely check out Magic Mike. I loved the costumes, dancing and the absolutely brilliant casting (watch closely for how Matthew M handles his broken g-string!). The DVD had better have extended dance scenes because how could it not! How many more DVD’s would they sell that way? So much eye candy that you have to see this movie more than once! No Oscars here just the definitive Summer Chick Flick and the midnight showing added a level of fun!
