This movie was fun and the boys were absolutely gorgeous! I'm sure this type of lifestyle goes with this vocation. The use of the "f" word was quite frequent though. Could have done without that. However, I would see it again!!! Would have loved to see it in 3D.

Listen, if anyone says they're going to see this movie for the great storyline they'd be lying. With that being said, this film masterfully delivers what the trailers tempt you with. It's 2 hours of almost naked luscious hotties dancing. If this is what you expect you will leave extremely satisfied. This will be my first DVD purchase.

I am glad I only paid $5.00 dollars.I am a huge fan of of Mathew and this movie made Mathew McConaughey look very very cheesy. The dancers were awful except for Channing. Really not sure why they had the dancer look like an retired WWF wrestler. This movie is not worth a repeat.!!

The movie actually had a story behind it. It was not just about guys showing their bums. That was nice but the theme and what goes on behind the scenes of a dance review was great. Channing Tatum was great and the new comer Alex was great also. Would recommend it to all women.

Pretty cheesy low budget movie. Looked like someone filmed it with a cell phone. Story line seemed incomplete, acting was pretty bad by the lesser known characters , the main "girl" n the movie was unattractive and a terrible actress. Basically if Channing and Matthew were not 1/2 naked in this movie no one would watch it. That part was enough for me :-)

I went to see this movie to be entertained, not for it's storyline. I enjoyed every minute of it, and it's an awesome movie to have fun with the girls.

this was a very good movie to me as far as dance goes. chunning tatum is extra hot and sexy and not to mention my girls and i would all love to see a bit more, lol. not recommended on my fb due to the crew i go to church with, but as for my girlfriends and all we have almost all seen it and it is highly recommended from all of us. i'm just wondering why the story line was like it was and why didn't someone think of filming a movie with hot men like this a long time ago. just imagone the big bucks in it.
Pros great actors, hot hot hot:)
Cons slow, didn't let us see more:)

So much hype but the movie was a flop. Not really a Matthew fan, but now I really dislike him...so narcissistic! Kinda sleazy too. Channing was a fabulous dancer. And Joe <sigh>....well, he's so hot, sadly didn't see enough of him in the movie. Lacked in the plot as it wasn't very deep. Decent chick flick as long as you aren't expecting too much. the partying and anticipation before the movie was the best...too bad the movie fell "short"! (pun intended)!!!

It is always a problem when a movie is marketed one way, and then clearly is not that movie. This is a very dark movie, not being sold that way. More importantly, it simply was not entertaining. The "fun" parts were not fun, and the "heavy" parts did not really work, largely because we do not care about these characters. Most of the "name" strippers could easily have been given to chippendale dancers, as the actors had no parts to play. I am a Channing Tatum fan, but he struggles with a weakly written character who must play at being totally disengaged from other people, but mainly succeeds in being disengaged from the audience. Even what should be spectacular "strip" scenes are edited and shot in a way which makes them curiously uninteresting, and the female audience members are wholly trivialized. I really wanted to like this movie, and I really did not

Saw it at the midnight showing & it was totally awesome to get caught up in the dance numbers with everyone cheering on. My only dilemma was that I didn't know where to look because all the men were yummy. Can't wait to see it again.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
