This movie is one of my grandson's favorite. We watch it over and over. I was expecting that the 3D effect would add a new dimension to the movie. Unfortunately, the 3D effect was minimal. One of my grandsons watched the movie without the glasses. Too bad they dumbed down the 3D. The movie is still great for first timers but don't expect something new for veteran watchers.
Pros great story, child friendly
Cons minimal 3d effect

I SAW THE ORIGINAL SEVERAL YEARS AGO WHEN IT FIRST CAME TO THE THEATRE AND THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT MOVIE. WAS EXPECTING A LITTLE MORE WHEN IT WAS RE-RELEASED IN 3D. 3D EFFECTS COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE BETTER. OVERALL STILL A GOOD MOVIE FOR FAMILIES.
