Took my 5 year old son and he was so frightened by Gargamill that we had to leave. The adults in our group as well as kids a little older all were enjoying the movie. Sound effects were extrelly loud and coupled with the story line just added to the problem for our little one. Depending on your childs age and sensativity this could go either way for you.
Pros great actors

The new smurfs made the movie sooooo much more exciting than the first one. And I loved Vic! Extremely funny and an awesome actor. All the actors were amazing. The special effects sold me! A very well placed story. I loved the story and location and wouldn't change a thing.

I thought parts of the movie were funny and pretty cute but it did seem like it should be a made for TV movie for kids. I gave it a generous 3 stars but I was in a good mood! I would recommend this movie for people who have small children and have nothing else to do.
