I saw this in IMAX, 3D and the experience was awesome. The movie effects were incredible and the story was great. Emma Stone was really cute too! Highly recommend seeing this movie..you won't be disappointed.

The story is very well laid out to follow Peter Parker's evolution to Spiderman as well as his relationship to his family, Gwen Stacy, and Dr. Conners (The Lizard). It wasn't campy in places like the other 3 movies but was more an action drama without a lot of the stupid lines in the previous 3 movies. I don't like the Stan Lee appearance at all. Although I know why Stan Lee appears (since he is the creator of Spiderman), I still don't care for it. The special effects are great, especially The Lizard transformation and his character coming full circle was a pleasant surprise. My 5 and 4 year old were a little scared of The Lizard in the movie but still loved it. The Spiderman action scenes are great!!! My kids were jumping on the walls, stairs, anything they could for the rest of the night after the movie!! Stay for the credits. Prepare to be entertained and don't be cerebral about the movie. Just enjoy it!!! It's great!!!! It sets up for a great 2nd movie!!! Can't wait for the next one!!!

I enjoyed the movie, it was overall a good movie and worth seeing, but not one of those OMG moments or movies. I liked the mixture of humor and action.

Ok, I admit I went into this movie expecting the worst. There have already been good Spider-Man movies why start over. I absolutely love anything comic book related, read and collected plenty as a kid! So when my husband came home begging to go see this movie I just was not interested. My frustration with constant recreations are the obvious carachter and story changes.
I loved the changes in this Spider-Man. The dialogue was hilarious along with behaviorism. I don't want to give anything away so... The point is, we walked out thrilled to have seen and might even go back with the kids:)
One thing I have to say is: if you were glasses and go to an IMAX 3D movie, wear your contacts you'll have a much better experience. In addition try to sit middle center, if you don't already know it makes for a cleaner picture. These ideas have been tested we see atleast 2 movies a month sometimes more.
PS: we will be there for Resident Evil: Retribution 3D. I love Milla and they can make as many resident evil movies as they want, as long as the continue to be as good as the first. I may be bias, did I say I LOVE MILLA! :) Happy Watching!

I was on the bandwagon of it being to soon for a reboot of Spidy. But after watching the movie, with the story line and graphics, I want to watch it again. Plus seeing it in 3D IMAX is the way to go. The action and Spidy swinging really jumps out at the audience. I highly recommend Amazing Spiderman as a move to watch over and over again!!

Well made, entertaining movie, but still left wondering, why did they have to do a remake of the origin of Spiderman? Left with a 'been there, done that' feeling. Emma Stone as a high school student was the most unbelievable part of the movie.

The movie was great (saw it in IMAX definetly recommend in IMAX). Dialoge was great, Acting was great (I actually almost cried when there was very sad scenes). story is excelent and what I like about the movie is that it is very similar to the comics! Special effects were all-right (could have been better) and the camera work was okay. some stuff was put togather kinda made seemed a little choped in the action scenes so it was a little hard to understand whats happening. anyways its a great action-flick.

Great movie! Saw Andrew Garfield on the Tonight Show and wasn't sure he could pull off such a great performance, but he did. Spider-man was very believable & the story was well written. Camera work was good but frequent short action clips all spliced together made viewing uncomfortable. But, well worth watching in IMAX 3D. Finally, 3D that blends in well with the movie.

Yes its a reboot but a good one. Im a comic collector for 27 years and a spoiderman fan. This movie has it all. The story is a hash of the original with some new twists. Garfield pulls off a great spider man and thank god to getting back on track with gwen being the first girlfriend( my daughter is named after her) This is more of a love story with the action thrown in. I liked the story line with parents. And thank you dir. Webb for bring back the web shooters. The lizard was a good pick and he was played perfectly. Have a good time watching this movie I can't wait till the next installment
