The colors were beautiful...Art work well done. The kids enjoyed it alot. The humor was just enough for the kids and enough for the adults to laugh to. I like the story line, and love the slug. I love the whole fanatsy of having the forest being alive. Great Family movie. Beautiful!

Took 7 children to see movie, ranging in age from 5 to 10. Creative concept and images. Combines the pretty forest princess concept of the Princess and the Frog with the bad, ugly guys of How to Train your Dragon. Guess they were trying to appeal to the young girl and boy audiences. Family firendly for PG. Humor was ok (not as good as the Madagascar series, for example), the pace was a little slow for the 10 year olds, and the concept was a little too complex for the smaller children. Movie was average, so I will not be buying it on DVD. However, it may be the best kid movie out right now, since there is not alot of selection suprisingly. (Tells me something when the theater doesn't even have a poster of it.)

I saw this movie with my 4.5 year olds. The storyline was WAY over their heads. I thought the movie was terribly boring. No humor. I would not recommend.

For my daughter's 8th birthday we took our family and 2 of my daughters friends to see this movie. All the kids said the movie was really good. I have to say that I also enjoyed the movie. It was funny and it has a good story line. It's a great family movie.

Took my 8 year old to see this...he enjoyed it and I did as well. Had some sad parts but overall the story line was very nice. Makes one think differently about the forests and creatures that live in them. Beautiful scenes, lots of excitement and quite a few good funny moments.
Overall, a great movie for families!

Saw this in 3-D and was overwhelmed by the beauty of the sets in the woods, the rich color, the animation, the story (which really had some depth to it). Highly recommend it for 5-95 yrs!
