Most scenes are action-packed and entertaining to watch. The cast is young and some of the younger actors can hang with the likes of Terrence Howard, but that isn't important in the end.

George Lucas did not fail to deliver once again! Loved the movie! Acting was superb and special FX were amazing! Although all parts of the history of the Tuskegee Airmen could not be covered in a 2 hr film, I believe it covered most of the important areas. I hope I can meet a Tuskegee Airman pilot soon and shake his hand!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was great popcorn fare along the lines of Lucasfilm's best actioners! Would like to have seen more character development but they definitely made up for it with the combat scenes. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

I really enjoyed the movie, it was very enlightening to see some of what the Tuskegee Airmen went through during such a pivotal time in history. My hat is off to them. Go "Red Tails"!
They should show this film in every black school in the USA.

I think the story of friendship and brotherhood within the movie was wonderful. George Lucas, Aaron McGruder, the many other key players and especially the talented actors in the film did an incredible job of displaying this story with strength, dignity and pride. Absolutely great movie.

This was a "good" movie, right out of the 1940s, including the music. The acting was okay, nothing extraordinary though. The action scenes and "dog fights" were what carried this movie. Plot fairly predictable, much "over acting", unknown actors primarily. Cuba Gooding's character could have been omitted altogether (but I am presuming they needed a "star" to get the masses into the theater). His pipe-smoking in virtually every single scene was comical and did not fit in at all. Terrance Howard's acting was very, very good.

Went to this movie without knowing much about it, came out blown away. Very authentic WWII dogfighting and the visuals are absolutely amazing. Terrence Howard and Cuba Gooding Jr. as the supporting actors truly add to this film and its meaning.

This was one of the best movies I have ever seen, and because it is based on actual events, makes it more inspiring. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie from start to finish.
