The Red Hot Chili Peppers were in top form and their new guitarist (Josh) was amazing! However, going to see this as a "Live" Fathom Event was quite disappointing. The AMC theater we went to see it at, must have only paid for 1hr and 45mins of satellite feed (this is an uneducated assumption), because the movie ended ABRUPTLY! It had a "run time" of 2hrs. 15mins! Anthony Kiedis in mid sentence suddenly went to a blank screen BEFORE the concert was over! No goodbyes, no last song, and no end credits to let you know to that it was actually over. The management of the West Orange, NJ theater was NO help whatsoever! Would not go back! Sorry to the Chili Peppers whom we love anyway!

I loved that the band talked about the new album, wished the concert time was the full 2 hrs 15 mins. Cant wait to see them play live, but this was the next best thing.

Took my two sons who are huge Chili Pepper fans and the video add showed them playing a lot of other songs that my kids love. Instead they stuck with the new album (which is great and they played fantastic) - then they only played "Give it Away". Both my boys fell a sleep and I woke them when it got to the end of the album because I thought they were going to play some hits. "Dani California, Can't Stop, Californication, Scar Tissue, Under the Bridge" Very disappointed that they did not play at least two more of their hits.

What a great performance! It was great seeing the boys play after so long. This show was the closest thing to seeing them live as you can get! My only complaint was the run time. The show only ran for 90 minutes, not the 2hrs. 15 min. advertised. They played almost the entire new album, as well as "Give It Away" and were forced to play one song twice because of technical difficulties, but that was it. I was a little disappointed we didn't get to hear more classic Chili Peppers and felt a little shorted because it ended so soon, but overall it was a great show!
