I didn't know what to expect going into this movie since I didn't think this one could outdo the last one. They are both amazing....I want to go see this one again to make sure I didn't miss anything. I highly suggest watching the first 2 Batman films before going to see this as I was confused a few times since I didn't brush up beforehand.

The movie was face paced & exciting. The violence was very in-your-face but well done. Only negative was it was hard to understand Bane so I lost a little of the story.

I really enjoyed this entry in the Batman trilogy. Though I had been a bit concerned about the length, the time flew by thanks to good storytelling, strong characterization and enjoyable acting. I would highly recommend this and hope there's another installment with the same cast that expands on Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon Levitt's roles.

This movie was fabulous, though I have always been a fan of mostly anything Batman (except the George Clooney movie; that was just bad). Although I had feared that Christopher Nolan had taken quite a liberty with the Batman storyline, there is a twist in this movie that made me happy in my little nerdy heart. I loved it!

The Dark Knight Rises is an intertwining of Christopher Nolan's two desires: to tell his story of Batman, and to illustrate the execution of a propaganda film. While this intertwining is done quite flawlessly, there is often so much material to work with, the execution of the plot almost feels too rushed, and too fast for the audience to take a breath and fully comprehend all that has transpired. Despite this, TDKR is well-orchestrated with an evenly-paced plot, and establishes the full-circle of Bruce Wayne's journey by creating multiple tie-ins with Batman Begins. If this film falls short on any level, it would have to be its ending, which leaves audiences with mixed reactions. To remain spoiler-free, it shall only be said that some may not favor the direction Nolan has chosen to take the Batman franchise at the end of this film. While this film may not have the strongest story of the franchise, it is an honorable ending to an amazing, solid trilogy; and its action-packed plot, and avid heroes and villains are sure to provide worthy entertainment for most audiences.

Trying to follow The Dark Knight would be no easy task, but wan't impossible. For a 2h 44m movie it seemed to fly by, not once did I look at my watch and not once did I feel like the movie was over staying its welcome. You get thrown into the massive scale of production within the first 5mins, with breathtaking scenery and incredible realism.

Christopher Nolan did a wonderful job capping off this trilogy. It was exciting, the fight scenes were great, and it kept you guessing the entire movie. I'm not a fan boy, so I don't get to worked up over the small details, it was a great story and really brought this series to an ultimate conclusion.

Excellent and enjoyable completion of the Batman Trilogy. IMAX screen definitely improves the film experience when you have such good special effects. The 3rd installment clearly maintained a smooth transition from the prior installments. Has some good twists and surprises in the story line, and Batman takes a licking but keeps on ticking...pretty much.
Definitely a go see!! You will enjoy it.

I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this movie and plan on seeing it again next weekend. It had all of the elements to include, funny, happy, angry and even sad enough to shed tears.
I would definitely recommend reviewing the first two episodes before seeing the third to refresh on characters and events because they are mentioned again.
The only two changes I would like to see is that some of Bain's dialogue was somewhat difficult to understand due to the mask filtering his speach and a few of the camera shots were too dark to define what was going on.

Can not even explain how awesome this movie is. I knew I wanted to see it but was super bummed that it was 2hrs and 45 mins long. Truthfully, Batman keeps you soooo entertained that you don't realize time exists. They knew just the right amount of action vs talk to make this one of my favorite movies. two Thumbs up. With this said, sending prayers to all the people affected by that pathetic piece of crapola in CO.

This was a great film. We saw it at an IMAX theatre. Since the film in IMAX is not digitalized, there was a lot of degradation of the picture. We saw it on the SECOND day! In a week it will not be watchable. Also, the music played too loudly over dialogue making it difficult to understand.
Otherwise, good story, acting, action. Ann Hathaway was very good - better than expected.

I bought my tickets in advanced so I could have the perfect seats in IMAX and no hassles! It worked out perfectly. I think it was the easily the best of the Batman films. The only real issue I had (and it may have been the Theater was having issues with the sound) was Bane speaking wasn't always audible. The ending leaves you wanting for more and if you have 1/2 a brain you have to think there will be another Batman coming our way!

This was a great movie, a thrill ride the whole way through. A little more intense and violent than the other two movies in the trilogy so be careful about taking younger kids, but a great movie for teens/adults. Christian Bale just can't be beat as batman and then ending definitely leaves you wanting more. See it in IMAX if you can but be ready to stand in line and prepurchasing tickets is a must.

I expected more from Christopher Nolan. They tried to do too much and missed a lot of details with adding random characters and no explaining how he left the hole and got back into Gotham when he is bankrupt and the city is locked down. I could see the blue screen the whole time the bat copter was flying. It was more on the Micheal Bay level. I feel like Nolan really phoned it in.

Awesome Movie, Best batman movie to date, I think. Cristian Bale was super believable, movie wasn't predictable at all, and plot was exciting.
I look forward to at least one more! Introducing another new villian would be the way to go in next flick. Can't wait.

The acting, story, plot, pacing, and delivery in this movie far surpassed any expectations I had before viewing. A proper ending to the trilogy with highly memorable performances by the entire cast this time, and not just a select few as with the previous film. The only complaints I have are very miniscule, and truly do not affect the enjoyment-factor whatsoever; since the entire film was not filmed via an IMAX camera, seeing it on the super-sized screen and watching the image switch from IMAX quality to widescreen format can be a bit jarring at times. Also, the story may be a bit much for those not die-hard to the series, but nevertheless, still fully entertaining and not impossible to follow, unlike other films that require viewers to be familiar with previous works. A must see in my own personal opinion, and certainly more than once...
Pros great story, great actors, memorable moments, highly quotable

Overall, I think this was an excellent movie with a very well thought out plot line that tied in the first two movies excellently. I loved all the plot twists and how well they were explained. The action and acting were also excellent.

I will say the movie is entertaining, but anyone watching it should check reality at the door. This applies if you know anything about physics, medicine, the freezing point of water, or people fighting with bare fists when they're holding guns and assault rifles.
