My 8 year old, 6 year old and I went to see this movie yesterday. It was such an enjoyable movie for all of us. Really, the best kids' movie we've seen in a long, long time. As is typical in Disney movies, there is a little bit of scary violence with the (real) "bad" guy in the end, but it didn't seem to bother my kids at all. When the movie ended, they asked if we could watch it again right away and then buy it when it comes out on DVD, so they must have really loved it!

Once again, Disney has done it. They took a simple concept and converted it into a massive dose of imagination with lots of eye candy for the kidlets. The simplicity of it is Ralph is bored and feels his job is unfulfilling as a bad guy who wrecks everything. So, he decides to prove himself worthy of being more than just a "bad guy" by jumping games (called, "Going Turbo") to get a medal of honor to bring back to show all who fear him and prove that he's not a bad guy after all. When Ralph gets into the thick of it, he realizes, and the others too from his game, that he was where he belonged before he went turbo. He just needed a little more love than he was getting. And we all got a dose of the warm fuzzies watching Ralph conquer the video game world. It was a sweet and endearing movie to watch with my kids. The only thing I wasn't exactly thrilled about was Sarah Silverman's character, Vanillopee, was wordy with a few terms that didn't sit well with me. She said a things that a 2 year old could easily pick up, but you wouldn't want them to say these things in front of company. Other than that, the movie was great and fun.

Cons didn't like the "poopy" like phrases

Was hoping because of having all the "Old" game characters that there would have been a little more for the older kids (adults). It was still a lot of fun to watch; though it does move a little slow at times.

Absolutely enjoyed this movie. Brought my 4 year old step son to this movie. He was laughing and having a great time. Haven't played arcades in a while, really enjoyed the adaptations of arcade characters brought into this movie. Saw a lot of familar games. Had great laughs. Was in general just a great movie to watch with the kids. Highly recommend with or without the kids.

Even if you are not a video game fan the movie should keep you interested. The story is pretty cute and isn't really slow at any point in the film. The actions and dialogue is clean so there is not any problems with bringing the kids. Although there is not a huge amount of character development, their motivations and goals are clear allowing for a course for the movie.

I really enjoyed this movie. I think people will enjoy it, especially since it has a range of different emotions shown by the characters and situations. I didn't expect the ending, but in hind sight, all of the clues are there. I think you will enjoy this, especially if you're a fan of retro video games.

My husband and 6 year old grandson went to see this movie. They came home with excited stories to tell about the movie. My husband said he couldn't get over how an animated movie could seem so real. My grandson said this was one of the coolest movies he has seen all year. I won't wreck any of the scenes for you, but my grandson was non-stop in telling me things over and over again. This is one to treat yourself and/or your children to.

I grew up in the 80s, when arcades were the big thing, and having that perspective, I enjoyed the movie as much as my 8yr old niece did!
The animation and voice acting was great and delivers several great messages. The whole theater was laughing throughout - it was a blast!!

Wreck it Ralph was one of the best movies I have seen in a while, both for children and adults. It was a feel good movie and it brought me back to video games from when i was a child. My kids also loved it, and i would definitely see it again
