I go to very few movies, anymore- I find most rather boring, too reliant upon special effects, and far too lengthy. This was one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time; my husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed it.

Friends recommended this movie. We saw it with other friends and all 4 of us loved it. Funny at times, but very poignant at other times. Clearly, other countries honor the elderly whereas the US leaves them to fend for themselves, with or without resources to do so.
Clearly, this country needs a Medical System that helps our elderly die with dignity.

I've been waiting to see this movie, and was happy to find that it was playing just down the road from where I live. This is a warm, heartfelt movie that is well casted. The scenery and story was truly beautiful. I enjoyed it very much, and just might go see it again! :)

What a surprise!! We expected a fluffy comedy and we got so much more. Superb acting . . . not really news with this wonderful cast . . . and some heavy "stuff" mixed in with the humor.
Sure the story line was a bit stretched but we enjoyed every moment. Laughed hard and also shed a tear or two. Judi Dench is incredible, but she has to be to stay ahead of these other performers. Highly recommended.

Not a great movie, but okay. There were a lot of worn out one liners. the story was slow moving, predictable. worth watching on tv, not worth the price of admission. good acting. The most amazing thing is all of the 'adults' in the theater that are starved for good movies without all of the violence, sex and gore of most movies today. There is a group for movies like this. We need more character-driven films. Hollywood seems to be making movies for 16 yo boys or animations for kids. Where are the movies for us adults that just want to see a good movie with a story?

I was not sure what to expect, but it was the best movie I have seen in years. It has a veteran cast in the movie. Such an uplift to have a movie that the sole reason of the movie is to make audiences smile and that I did-the entire way through. No shoot um up, no sex scene or swearing or 3D, just a plain good movie to make you enjoy life and being alive at our age. I highly recommend it.

This is a terrific movie with a great story that will reasonate with adult audiences of all ages - but especially those in their 40s and older. The acting is outstanding. This movie made me laugh and made me cry. The actors really seemed to have great chemistry together. The story was engrossing, the atmosphere was beautiful, great movie. I highly recommend it!

Truly enjoyable film and I will see it again! It is one of those movies you don't want to see end and once you accept that it will, you hope for a sequel. My daughter loves going to India for all the reasons these people come to understand while they are lving there. The kindness of the people, the beautiful, colorful clothing and the food! I told my girlfriend several times, "I need to run to the restroom, but I don't want to miss anything" Never did go until after the credits rolled! Ann D. Phoenix, AZ

funny dialog, bringing up vingettes of the funny positions people put themselves into to "maintain". It is a feel good movie, a great date night movie, with an ultimate message: don't put yourself or anyone else in a box.

This was a movie that had a lot of feeling and had heart. A group of people go to India and all have different experiences. Beautifully shot and a great group of actors. You get a chance to feel how each character feels. Very enjoyable and just a fun time.

This movie is philosophical, thoughtful and profoundl. But, it's also amusing, quickpaced and entertaining. The acting is topnotch, so understated, yet powerful. I laughed all the way through it, and can't wait to see it again...
