I thought this was the best of Nolan's Batman series. The reason being is Batman Begins had a great story arc for Bruce Wayne / Batman being the origin story and The Dark Knight was a great crime saga with the ultimate villain in The Joker. Nolan combined those for The Dark Knight Rises. It had the great story car for Bruce Wayne but also had a great crime saga with Bane and Batman trying to stop him.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, wonderful direction

It was great, I think non super hero fans will even love it. It mixes all the elements of a successful movie and delivers the whole package. There are times of intense pressure and times of hope and the movie was great at putting you in the moment as if you are in Gotham City at the time. It takes you back to your youth for just one moment and makes you believe Batman actually might be real! Christian Bale is THE BATMAN and I seriously doubt any future actors will fulfill the role with such confidence and ease. They really brought the trilogy full circle in the sense that they kept a steady momentum from each movie and resurfaced previous themes from the earlier films. There were no boring moments and you will definately will not be left wanting for more. It will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end! I may go see it again!

Just as good as The Dark Knight (possibly better). Even if you are not a superhero movie fan, the character development and art direction in this film make it a must for everyone. More original than any other comic book film series, Christopher Nolan has somehow set Batman apart from the overwhelming number of recent superhero films. You will not be disappointed.

Overall a great movie with a great cast. Although Michelle Pfiffer is in my opinion the best Catwoman simply because she wasn't just a thief. Can't wait to see Robin in action! Bane was an incredible character and really awesome ; pure brutal strength :-) However sometimes the mask interfered with his dialogue but understood regardless. Overall it was worth watching at 1 a.m. until 4 a.m. with a much more mature crowd luckily there were no whining children or noisy teenagers.

This cannot be Christopher Nolan's last Batman movie! He has done such a superb job that it would be a shame to stop now. The actors are amazing- Tom Hardy as Bane is perfection!! I absolutely loved the Dark Knight, and I wasn't sure he could top it. The Dark Knight Rises is just as awesome!! Anne Hathaway was a great Catwoman, and I really didn't think she would be when I heard about the casting. I don't want to give anything away, but there definitely could be room for a fourth!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Christopher Nolan continues. The only con that I have is Batman's costume. It's different, and it almost looks kind of cheap or cheesy. But seriously, that's nothing compared to the awesomeness of this movie.

I thought it was a great movie, I'm glad they kept it to 2.5 hours anything else and they would of made a mistake. I did like the ending, although sad it still left you thinking about the future.

What can I say that hasn't been said before. This is one of the best movies I have seen. I think the 3rd movie of the trilogy is the best one of all. The acting, special effects, everything was great. I highly recommend the film.

Movie was about an hour too long, usually don't want these types of movies to ever end (as in Avengers, Iron Man, original Spiderman). Dialogue was tedious, script was way below par given the star power. Bane and Catwoman stole the show, Batman himself was reserved, dry, boring - not sure Bale wanted to be there, but given the poor writing who can blame him. Choppy editing, it was as if they shot 6 hours of film and chopped the heck out of it to get below 3 hours..still way too long. Sometimes, you need to vary from the comic and make a good movie in lieu of telling the whole story. Hoping next movie with Robin will be solid - they certainly have a top drawer cast ready to go.

Nolan manages to give the fans of the series and the comics everything they want without pandering. There are so many "aha" moments. I guessed some of the twists; not because they weren't set up well, but because I was hyper-aware and looking for them. The supporting actors are brilliant, and there are plenty of minor characters the fans will recognize from some popular sci-fi/fantasy TV shows. Rise.

The movie was very well executed from the beginning to end. The story captured the audience and drew them into Bruce Wayne's life once again. There was something for everyone - special effects, emotion, love, and a climatic ending that pulled the Batman trilogy together. While there were a couple of "that could never happen" scenes toward the end, the overall excellence of the movie pushed those brief thoughts aside. I would highly recommend the movie!
