I really enjoyed Anne Hathaway as Cat Woman; she was surprising believable in the role. Bale is ruggedly handsome as ever. The story flows well and has a couple of twists. The story line was entertaining.

I thought this was a good movie, and I would recommend it to everyone who is a fan of Nolan's Batman saga.
Unfortunately, for me, this was not as exciting as the first two movies. Some say there wasn't a lot of Batman in the movie. I agree but I am OK with this. What I am not OK with is the fact that when you do see Batman, there just isn't anymore cool 'Bat-gadgets' or memorable Batman action sequences, pretty boring and flat. As for the flying machine called 'The Bat', that was a slick piece of creative thinking, but just wasn't doing as much for me as 'The Tumbler' or 'Bat Pod' did when they were introduced.
All the actors did excellent work as their respective characters, definitely worth watching each one. I do think there were too many people and too many dialogues to juggle in this movie, but the Blake character does stand out the most, and JLG did an excellent job as Blake. As for Bane, I like this interpretation of the character, but the silly voice really should have been re-thought. Cat woman was great, but I really hated the fact that she just jumps on the Bat Pod and is driving it around the city like she has been doing it for years, sorry I don't buy that.
As for the grand scope of the movie, it was what I was expecting, but it did not feel very tightly scripted, the '5 month' period felt rushed and not as flushed out as it could have been, especially because there was quite a bit of jumping around. This, to me, made the movie feel a bit thin and was not helped by the particular last few minutes of the very end of the movie (I won't say anything about it as to not spoil it for anyone). All this said, it did not break the movie for me, I was very happy to see it.
To sum up, definitely worth seeing, the trilogy was amazing. When I saw The Dark Knight I could not wait to go and see it again, two more times in the theaters, and I did. Unfortunately, I won't waste anymore money on seeing this one in the theaters, but will get the Blu-Ray. Rises was just not the strongest one in the series, sorry to say.

A fantastic finish to one of the greatest trilogies of all time. Best viewed as one continuous movie, the Dark Knight Rises does not disappoint. Stunning cinematography, excellent acting, pulse pounding action! It is also a surprisingly emotional rollercoaster, if Michael Caine doesn't get an Oscar nod i'd be shocked. A very satisfying ending, the last 5 minutes are pitch perfect.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, amazeballs

The wife did not like as much as I did, and her points were valid. She thought that it did not need to be as long. But I was ok with it!
They wrapped it up really well, of course we want more, and can't wait to see where and who will pick up the reins from here. Anne Hathaway, wish there was more of Anne! The Bane character was good, but how about clearer pronunciation! I would see it again!

Following up with the third movie in this comic book story line (and I don't follow the comics), I was NOT disappointed at all!!! It was action packed along with a strong story line with depth to Bruce Wayne's character and not only The Batman. I was surprised with the ending and it leaves me wondering if this is really the last movie?

Wow, that was worth the wait! Christopher Nolan did not disappoint. The story of Bane keeps you interested in him the entire movie, and CatWoman was a real relevant character in Gotham City. Batman action scenes were right on. We Batman fans get a lot of stuff we were hoping to see. Michael Caine, steals the acting award for this movie. It was more suspenseful than I expected, and more suspenseful than any movie I have seen this summer. Go see it!

Christopher Nolan doesn't disappoint with the third and final installment of his Batman trilogy. The casting (including those we're familiar with and the new faces) is spot-on, the action is believable, and there are more than enough twists and developments to keep you from figuring it all out ahead of time. This will be the comic/sci-fi movie standard for some time to come! Spectacular!

They made Batman better, which wasn't an easy task. The story board stayed true throughout the trilogy which is what makes this movie even better, I knew to expect an epic event and I wasn't disappointed.

Thought Chris Nolan was one of those directors smart enough not to fall into cliches and used before traps. I was wrong. Take his first two movies, mix them together, remove the intensity of acting from them and you have TDKR. This should have been the second movie with Dark Knight Returns being the last.

Over all the movie was excelent!!! The director and cast really nailed every aspect of what could be a possible story line for the Legacy of the Dark Night. The believable fighting scenes are eloquently done aswell as the special effects in gadget/vehicle technology. Most of all what was exceptional was the small clues layed out through a fantastic performance by all actors. Which is what you see the Dark Night Comics. Anyone who has ready them will love and or appreciate the touching of bits and pieces of allot of story lines. Which is I feel it is the most succesful transition from Graphic Novel to Movie.

Its quite clear that the creators of these 3 films blew their collective wad on the second one. This was slow dull and very boring. The first two grabbed hold and didnt let go..this one just dragged on and on. I found myself dozing off several times..and I wasnt the only one. The action was non-existent..And what should have been the best part was the worst= "Bane" was pathetic at best. The character development was extremely poor and that silly mask he has on along with his stupid voice makes him very hard to understand. The ending was somewhat satisfying but getting to that point was downright agony. I found myself wishing that the film would hurry it up...DID NOT need to be almost 3 hours long. Ive seen the first two movies MANY times...I absolutely will not sit through this one again.

The Dark Knight Rises is the perfect end to the Batman trilogy by the Nolan brothers. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat. The drama is epic. Questions are answered. The ending is amazing.

It was an ok movie... good story, but I feel it was too easy to figure things out and they made Batman look too weak! I feel the first 2 were much better. It's not a very adventurous, action-packed film... like The Avengers. I feel they could have done a better job. Probably should have finished in 2 movies instead of 1, it was way too long. I was disappointed after seeing the first two! Wouldn't watch it again.

Yes, it is well paced, but it is also very long. I recommend this movie for watching it at home as opposed to the movie theater. That way, you'll be able to pause, use the bathroom and take a break from the story. Do not read anything about this movie other than vague reviews if you wish to truly enjoy it. I looked at the IMDB cast list and that ended up spoiling a portion of the movie.

Saw this movie with my 2 boys (ages 10 & 8) who love superheros. Batman is no exception. There were parts of the movie they didn't understand such as relationships between some of the characters but overall we loved the movie. The boys can't wait for it to come out on DVD hopefully before Christmas.
