Bruce Wayne, stripped of his own wealth and physical health, gets much more screen time than Batman. Presumably years of superhero activity has worn the cartilage from his joints, the death of loved ones has crushed his spirit, and Catwoman antics upon the fingerprints of his apathy has left him penniless. Even as he takes a final gasp to rise, Bane breaks his back and leaves him imprisoned in the pit of his childhood well. Finding what is important enough to raise ourselves from that pain, despair and hopelessness, is the thick story that plays upon the backdrop of rich and poor, war and wall obstacles. There is a wall to scale that can only be accomplished with the full commitment of abandoning the net. To trust what has killed you will not kill you again. To give all that you can give and then to rest, knowing you have inspired the good you’ve seen in others to carry on.

The movie should have been cut to less than two hours. To many plots and sub plots that did not add to the story. The last ten minutes of the movie contained a good laugh and a plot twist that did not work. This could not compete with the summer's Marvel release.

I was expecting something along the lines of the second movie with the Joker. This one had some unnecessary dialogue and the first hour was boring. The best part of the movie was in the last hour and the fight between the police and prisoners prior to that. Anne Hathaway made a great Catwoman however, but I don't think Bale was all that effective as Batman, too tame. I was also disappointed that Bain was not the main "bad guy." And it was sometimes hard to understand him behind the mask. I wouldn't recommend this movie but I wouldn't discourage anyone from seeing it so they can draw their own conclusions. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 6.

I actually loved each movie, more than the last. I wish there could be 3 more to the series, Christian Bale is the best Batman to date. This last one was beyond awesome. Loved the Bike, I would anything to owe one just like it!!!

Excellent culmination of the trilogy. Bale is, as always, excellent, and Nolan is becoming our "must see" director. Our only complaint was a slight difficulty hearing some of the dialogue, particularly through Bane's grill mouthpiece. Definitely worth seeing.

I thought it couldn't get any better than 'The Dark Knight'. I was wrong. Very nice to see Michael Caine get some extended screen time. The end was very moving. The story was ok, but did have some nice twists. I couldn't understand Bane's dialogue in many scenes, but that could have been due to the theatre's sound system. Anne Hathaway pulled off an amazing performance given her background. Tip of the hat to Chris Nolan and Co. They set the bar very high with this one. Can't wait for the trilogy to come out on Blu-Ray.

I loved it. I thought it was an amazing finale for the third movie of Christopher Nolan's trilogy. Christopher Nolan did a great job directing it, and writing and producing it as well. A great cast put together. An amazing story-it wrapped up the trilogy really well, and with many plot twists and suspense it was made a masterpiece. Tom Hardy(Bane) was amazing in his role, and I thought was the perfect villain. I wish he was more involved in the ending(you know what I mean if you have seen it). I wish there will be more batman movies in the future. It was very well worth watching with a run time of 2 hours and 45 minutes. My prayers go out to the ones who were victims and their families in the Colorado shooting.

I thought that Dark Knigt was the best Batman movie, but now it becomes the chapter with the best Joker ever. This chapter is just spectacular, and it's the story; the wise advice and wishes of the elders, the hard decisions and sacrifice of the heroes, and the reverberating voice of an evil enforcer that penetrates your brain (you need a theater with good sound to feel this).
I was doubtful of Hathaway's Catwoman, but her looks and style fit Nolan's take for the story; and it works, you'll see.
From beggining to the last second, you can't miss dialog or scene. So you better get in fresh, eaten, and with an empty bladder. It's one of the best, almost 3 hour, movie experiences, which you may want to see again.

Saw it in IMAX so it should have been even better. Thought Bain was Darth Vader and the Motocycle came out of Tron. Those things were very distracting. A bit too long too...

As usual Chistopher Nolan has created a film about the Batman where twists and turns are to be expected even if at times predictable yet satisfying. The story line begun with the first film continues in unexpected ways and with the return of a few familiar characters and the introduction of a few new ones most notably Catwoman and Bane. If you can re-watch the two previous films before you see this one, some of the details will be clearer. Its quite stylish and exactly what you have come to expect in this series with the last scene leaving you wishing Nolan would continue directing another installment.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, where does he get those wonderful toys?
