This was a great Batman movie. The acting was good. Bain was hard to understand at times but he was very evil minded which made him even more of the bad guy character. Nice intro to Catwoman. Great story and ending to the series.

Overall it was the best Batman film ever - action sequences are masterpieces - work of art, the story is also brilliant. The art, special effects and cinematography was superb too. Christopher Nolan has outdone himself.

I thought this was the best out of the three Batman movies. Great casting with Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy. The story was well told and for a movie that was almost three hours it sure didn't feel it!! Christopher Nolan did an amazing job with resurrecting this series and definitely closed the series on an amazing high note!

I went to see this as a good movie, not because I am enamored with the Batman character. I did the same with the second movie, which I loved because of Heath Ledger's great Joker. I was very disappoinetd. The first hour or so was so boring I actually dozed off for a few minutes, twice. I couldn't understand what Bane was sayiing and found all the sub plots so distracting I finally left, not really caring what happened. So, to be fair to the movie, I did not see the last 1/2 hour, which everyone seems to say was so good. Well, the first 2 hours 15 minutes were definitely not so good. I'll probably rent this when it comes out and fast forward to the last 1/2 hour.

Those thirsting for an action packed film will likely be disappointed. The film is long and seems to be wasting time it could be spent entertaining the audience. The one bright side is Anne Hathoway's outstanding performance as Cat Woman. She even fights better than Bale's Batman character. If the film had been shorter and contained more action sequences, it would have been great. As is it is only mediocre.

Enthralling and a treat of a movie. Acting, visuals, you couldn't ask for a better summer movie. The best of the trilogy, in my opinion, and possibly the best comic book movie but it's so hard to really say which is.

There really is not a lot of ways to describe this movie, except that it is Epic! This is the best of The Nolan Batman Movies, I say that and I do acknowledge that Heath Ledger's Joker was the best villain, but the Joker is always Batman best nemesis. So with that in mind, Tom Hardy's Bane is a powerful menacing figure, who trully is a challege to Batman, both mentally and physically. The story is great and really epic, Christian Bale gives his best performance as Bruce Wayne/ Batman. The spectacle is outstanding and the story is trully engrossing. I've yet to bore of this movie and don't expect to anytime soon.

Seriously! How did Christopher Nolan do that? Throughout the trilogies of Batman, I thought Batman Begins was AWESOME! Then The Dark Knight came out. Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker was the best I had ever scene. I didn't think the movies could get better after that. I had high hopes for The Dark Knight rises, and somehow, not only did Christopher Nolan meet them, he EXCEDED THEM!! From beginning to end I was hooked and went along on a movie that I never experienced before. I was lucky enough to go to a marathon before the midnight showing, and if you haven't seen the first two, watch them first! It helped the story line along and everything was beautifully tied in together at the end.
The actors cast for their respected roles gave a new twist to how we always feel they should be done. I was thoroughly surprised with Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. The emotions she flipped on and off, and things she pulled off!
I can't fully explain how just amazing and awesome this movie is. Everything from the acting, and the special effects, the story line, the sound mixing, umm...the costumes! What I love the most about Christopher Nolan is that he makes everything seem so real! He literally brings Batman to life and doesn't create a world of fantasy. He makes you believe that just because Batman started as a comic, doesn't mean he can't be real.

I don't know much about the comic books or even the past batman movies so all I can base my review on was this movie itself. I loved it, I loved the action sequence, I loved the dialogue between Catwoman and Batman. I got a little tired of Batman being all down in the dumps but all in all, a great movie. Hoping for a new Batman movie soon...

I loved the action, it never stopped. Enjoyed this one more than the second, the second was too dark for me. At least this one provided hope.

This was probably the most intense and best batman movie of the series. The character Bane was commanding, dangerous and definitely more threatenly scary than any of the previous villains. Tom Hardy is one of the most versatile and captivating actors I've seen in recent times. This version of the cat woman was also the best depiction Of cat woman I've seen. Anne Hathaway played an intelligent, resourceful and down to earth type of thief/heroine versus the usual psychologically damaged version of the character. At almost 3 hrs long, this is one of those movies that keeps your attention throughout and ends without seeming to have lasted that long. Saw it in the director's suite at the OKC warren theater and was definitely worth every dollar!

This movie is what i would call 9/11 meets Occupy Wall Street. It also had elements of the excesses of the French Revolution. But, that just shows The Dark Knight was often all over the place with its plot. Good acting by Joseph Gordon Smith; loved Anne Hathaway as Cat Woman; and Christian Bale was consistently "dark." A little too long, but enjoyable.
