If you're up on current events, you'll really appreciate this film. The comedic relationship between Ferrell and Galifianakis is incredible! Some of the jokes used poke fun at things that have happened or are happening in the political world today. Great film, loads of fun!

This is a funny movie to see! Definately not a family movie. The laughs are plenty, and story line good. I do think it would have been better without all the vulgar language. I am not a prude...but that was even to much for me at times. I think the laughs would have been better without the strong language...sometimes it just went overboard. The acting is great, and I loved the story line. A good movie to go to if you want a good afternoon of laughter.

Favorite and capable actors going over the top to illuminate the absurdities and dirty little secrets of campaigning and politics. More amusing than hilarious though there are some luagh out loud moments in dialog, situations and visuals. However, I bet some of the best stuff was edited out or will be in the gag reel. Worth seeing but wait for the rental with the extras.

I love movies that you think are going to be sleepers like Bridesmaid and you end up laughing so hard that you fall out of the seat from beginning to the end. I read previous movie goers reviews that said this movie was extremely funny which helped me decide to see this movie. I have to say that I was very disappointed. There was a chuckle here and there. It's definetly not worth the $10.00 movie charge and I would only see this if you're really bored and you have nothing to do or I would wait until it comes to REDBOX. I was expecting an enjoyable movie from two of hollywoods funniest comedians and the movie fell very short. I wish I could get my $50.00 back. Sorry

Its not overly bad, but the move falls flat. It has its moments byt overall is a disapointment. It just never seems to 'get going', and movie itself kind of drags. The potential is there, its just never reached. I'd wait for to hit Red Box or On Demand and save the trip to the theatre.

I went in expecting a so-so movie with a few laughs here and there. I found myself laughing out loud throughout the entire movie! Much better than expected. Raunchy humor, to be sure, but it worked perfectly for this movie. I would recommend this to anyone with a good sense of humor.

Exactly what you expect from a Ferrell and Galifianakis, funny characters and some over the top gags. The movie won't win an oscar but it will make you laugh. Dylan McDermott and Jason Sudeikis are funny in their supporting roles. Dylan McDermott stole some scenes.
I don't go to a Will Ferrelll movie for cinematic greatness. I go because he makes me laugh. His Cam Brady character is close to his SNL George Bush character and it cracks me up.
Overall i would say it is worth seeing.

The filmn satirizes political corruption and corporate influence of the type employed by the Koch bros. It is lacking in subtlety and stereotypes southerners as morons.
However, it is the best comedic performance by Ferrell in a long time. Galifianakis is odd and good as usual. Above average in the crude humor genre. Worth watching for the matinee rates or when it comes to cable.

This movie started out funny, but then went south. The language and content got more crude and vulgar. I like Will Ferrell a lot, however, there are times he goes too far and this was one of them. You know it goes too far when Sudeikis plays a character that feels the same way. Galifianakis was a hoot. This would be one I would tell friends to rent and save the movie theater prices, if they were interested at all.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This was an extremely funny movie. A must see for a good laugh. I expect this is the way of a lot of politicians, they just want elected for the prestige with no intentions of solving anything. We need more of Mr. Hugger in our government.

Will Farrell and Zach Galifianakis are hilarious and work well together.
Dylan Mcdermott also plays a great role and does a superb job. Great story line, that's more truth than fiction. Most importantly, you WILL laugh!
I did not sleep through this one.
