Thee was never a dull moment. Constant action with semi predictable twists and turns. Entertaining but the best movie ever.

"Safe" turns out to be better then expected. Although the plot is weak and you are not able to determine what the plot really is until very late in the movie.
Jason Statham is Luke Wright a cage fighter. He leads a very mudane life and makes pennies. When he throws a rigged fight the Russian Mafia murders his family. Forced out onto the streets Luke wanders from pillar to post until he stumbles upon a little chinese girl in the subway. It's obvious that she is running from someone. Luke Wright sees whose chasing the little girl and decides he can get a little revenge for his family. He goes after the people who are trying to catch the little girl.
Luke soon finds out that this little girl is very very smart and is harboring a very big secret. There are people who will kill to get the information that she has. The story unfolds from there...
Typical Jason Statham movie with lots of "Kick-Ass" fight scenes and plenty of action. The outcome is also typical.

I have been an admirer of Jason Statham since his diving days prior to his big screen foray. If you loved his early British films like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels...and his Transporter films...then buckle up and enjoy this latest high octane ride. Jason does what he does best...if you don't like that about him, well then skip this one. Statham always delivers, regardless of the script. He makes my engine purr, and well, I'm good with that. He's unpretentious, straightforward, and all around good guy that happens to make great action films...enjoy them for what they are. I recommend this film to anyone who just wants to get the bang for your buck you deserve...and if he doesn't make your engine purr...well I won't hold that against you...:)))

Safe winds up being a B-movie with A-movie credentials, and all the more entertaining for it. Let the bullets fly. Let the bodies fall. Let a man who was grieving and suicidal rise up and wreak rough justice. And boy is it rough. And ever so satisfying. What we have here is basically an American "Transporter," with Statham caught up in the most jaw-dropping, quick-cut fights you've seen in years. A must see.
