I have to echo some of the other reviewers. A "typical" Jason Staham "kick ass" movie which is just fine with me. If you like him and his action flicks, you'll like this one too. No doubt about it!

I went to see this movie based on the reviews I read here. Either I have higher standards in an action movie, or we didn't see the same film. This is pure action, but I found the storyline/plot subpar. The action scenes were well done, but that didn't give me enough to rate this movie above three stars. I would recommend it for those who are solely interested in action without expecting much substance.

Jason Stratham delivers again! I took my kids to watch this movie and it were all agreed it was amazing. The action sequences were fantastic and the plot was great. Stop reading this and go see it already!

Boaz Yakin? Who is that guy?
That's what I would have said before watching "Safe", a gripping and intense action adventure starring The Transporter himelf...Jason Statham!
As it turns out, I've known about Boaz's work for years! From "Fresh" to "The Prince of Persia" he's left his mark of cinematic excellence! And in this flic, homie takes it to another level!!
I was on the edge of my seat, hootin' and hollerin' (at the right moments of course) and clapping my hands with the rest of the audience! Full of colorful characters and an engaging story, this was rough and tough cinema at its best!
Visually stunning and crafted in a fresh way, Boaz Yakin really put his signature on this one! The way he constructed scenes was amazing!
Not to mention Statham and the fight choreography. There ain't no old school Kung Fu going on here! This is real current UFC style fighting packed with a severe punch!
Pros well paced, great story
