I really hoped it wasn't like "Phone booth" and this man is stuck on the ledge the entire time. Well even though he was up there for a good while there is more to the plot which makes it interesting. A good mix of suspense and laughs. I really enjoyed it.

I went to this movie with somewhat low expectations and was pleasantly suprised. Don't read too many reviews because there are many spoilers in the mix! If you like a good action/drama where it is good vs bad characters, you should enjoy this movie. Leave your brain at the door and enjoy a fun and somewhat predictable movie.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie! Plenty of twists and lots of action. Going in I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. I purchased the tickets with a LivingSocial deal for half price and I'm glad I did. Definitely kept my attention and had me on the edge of my seat. If you saw and liked the movie "Phone Booth", you will most likely enjoy this movie as well. The structure of the movies are very similar, while the stories themselves have nothing in common at all. "Man On A Ledge" is not perfect, as there are several imperfections in the plot, storyline, editing, and continuity. In most cases those imperfections are played upon for comic relief or as a way to keep the momentum of the movie moving forward, and it works.
One way that I guage a movie is by the number of times during the movie that I look down at my watch to see what time it is. Even blockbusters have low points in their stories where this occurs, which is usually in the middle. However, I didn't look down at my watch once during this entire movie because it was always moving forward. It is not the greatest movie out there, and it doesn't try to be, but it is very entertaining and worth seeing.

Before I went to see the movie, a friend of mine said that the movie got 1 out of 5 stars so I was a little hesitant, but when I saw the movie I was not disappointed. It's a pretty good movie and I'm glad I went to see it. I would recommend watching this movie even if it's not in theaters.
