This movie was GREAT. My husband and I loved it even more than the first one. Had all of the TOUGH GUY actors we grew up to know and love. It was so exciting all the way through. DEFINITELY worth the money!

I knew going in that this was not going to be a "life changing" movie. It was (and is) suppose to be cartoonish with the main draw is seeing all of our favorite action heroes from the past all gathered together to blow stuff up. The movie delivered, and then some.
The best way to sum it up was a Saturday morning cartoon for adults. And I do wish to emphasize ADULTS. There is a lot of violence and some graphic death. However, there are some fantastic and "cheezy" one-liners that reference all of the previous action movies these actors appeared in.
All in all, definately worth seeing.

I enjoyed seeing all these actors working together. I enjoyed the puns as well. Would like to have seen more of Jet Li. I wished Jean-Claude was not the bad guy. Would like to have seen him on the good side.

A sequel is never better than the original. The same can be said for Expendables 2, Sly Stallone's latest effort is regenerating the testosterone-dripping melancholic memories of the 80's and 90's. There's action from the get-go, with blood spattering scenes more appropriate in a 3D format, and the action never stops. And for those moments when it does, there's the obligatory rehashed taglines from Terminator, LoneWolf McQuaide, and Rambo. New characters are introduced, such as Chuck Norris' Booker, Yu Nan's Maggie and Liam Hemworth's Billy, but they are extremely under-utilized. If you're a fan of Jet Li and hope to see more of him in this flick, you'll be disappointed, as he's a non-factor to the storyline. Jean-Claude VanDamme however, doesn't disappoint. Of all the characters in this movie he's the only one interested in taking his role seriously. The final fight scene between him and Sly is epic, but all too short. As cheesy as this movie is, it's a heckuva ride and a whole lotta fun. Even the wife liked it!!

I just seen some one saying that the were no chemistry between actors, boring references from the past movies, bad story where good guys beat the bad guys. hm. In fact when I was going I was expecting the movie to be cheesy to some point. You cant just put all the LEGENDARY actors in one group and make them all shine. But I WAS WRONG. Oh wow:)) That was such an EPIC movie like from the days of RAMBO and Terminator. Great Chemistry and acting among the crew. Awesome jokes and references to their previous work though still in the lines of the present story. Well rounded, greatly executed action movie. It was simply a tribute to all the great movies all those actors had done in the past. Love Van Damme. Chuck Norris--EPIC. I know I will be watching this movie over and over and over again. Thank you Stallone ! You made it Happen;)) 10 times better then the first one!

Considering the cast, this does not meet the expectations. This one is slightly better than the first movie, but still does not reach either quotable or memorable category. The special effects are great, actors did their jobs, the story line is OK. Van Damm as villain is two dimensional and bland. Stallone, and Willis are OK, Statham is very good, Schwarzenegger was pretty bad, Norris was funny, Lungren was strange.
The movie lacked the dynamic among the characters that you would expect from such collection of aging action stars. I got pretty much all the references to the various movies and inside jokes, but all of that seemed too forced. They should have just stuck with making fun of themselves and skipped the "serious" story line.
The dig at US army killing strait dogs was extremely unappreciated. I don't know which liberal military hating studio exec forced that in, but it really ticked me off.

Thoroughly enjoyable! I have always been a fan of movies where every "bad guy" winds up dying a well deserved death, and Expendables 2 delivers. This is made even better by the fact that JCV plays a very believable bad guy! Jason Stratham delivers the best overall performance, but everyone of our favorite action heroes delivers a solid performance and script gave each at least one memorable line. We came for action and the movie delivers, over and over again. Strongly recommend this one to anyone who enjoys actions flix.

This movie was awesome. The storyline was a little hard to folow at first but was awesome. All the old actors still had their get up and go. I hope and expendables 3 is in the making.

Some of their lines were cheezy. My daughter loved all the action. We were disappointed that that Jet Li was not in it more and that The character "Billy the Kid" was killed off

I enjoyed the move, tons of action made the D-Box seats worth every penny. It was great seeing all of the Action Actors from the 80's in this movie. This move was much better than the Last Expendable that came out. "D-Box Rules"
