It thoroughly enjoyed this movie although some flaws, but what movie has no flaws, actually a couple don't, but whatever. I love the twist on this classic fairy tale and I like how they portrayed its differences of it changing throughout the years. The acting was fine, I like Nicholas Hoult and Eleanor Tomlinson was good. The supporting cast was good. As I've said before I like the twist to this tale. It was well paced with an acceptable conclusion and a clever romance as a side story. Now, obviously not the best movie of 2013 but it is an enjoyable March release movie and a fun ride.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

My family and I think this movie was awesum with lots of action and a great plot. We truly enjoyed it and hopes there will be a part 2 in the future.

First and foremost, great opening use of a "bedtime story" scene. My kids loved it and kept them in their seats for the rest of the movie. The story moved along well. Artwork and visuals were amazing, loved the giants and their wold.
This movie has all the tools for a Braveheart, LotR, Game of Thrones type battles, but leans in favor of kids. I listed it as such, but is it really a con? As an adult who has seen those movies, I think so. To a child, definitely not.
This is a Family Movie First. All that matters is I had a great time with my kids.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, great opening

I don't pay attention to what others say about a movie, we liked it - took our 7 year old grandson and he LOVED it.

Noticed some not very good reviews for this movie and fortunately I don't pay much attention to others opinions. If the goal is for you to go enjoy yourself at the movies, this one will meet those requirements.
I'd see it again and I'd recommend it others.

We took our daughter to go see this movie at 8 o clock and I almost fell asleep halfway through. The plot is not very entertaining.
