I missed some of the lines because I was laughing so loud. Slapstick comedy that, hard to believe, made me cry near the end.

Laughed from beginning to the end. Seth MacFarlane is absolutely brilliant. Mark Wahlbeg was great, and of course Mila is just a joy to look at! Great 80s pop culture references, dialogue is very funny.

I thik Seth McFarlance is a riot in this movie, although it is hard not to picture Peter Griffin when you watch it! He brings his amazing hysterical humor that most people will laugh at!
A kids movie for grown-ups only!!! This is NOT A MOVIE for younger children. R means R in tis case and parents should be cautious unless they want to do a lot of explaining and watch their children grow up way too fast.

Seth MacFarlane makes his directorial debut with this hysterical and very politically incorrect comedy which tells a surprisingly sweet tale of a middle age man (Mark Wahlberg) who is trying to reach maturity in his relationships. If you are a Family Guy fan, you'll know the voice of Ted (MacFarlane) as Peter. Mila Kunis plays the cool, patient, and successful girlfriend. The cameos are simply great.
If you haven't seen the 80s flick "Flash Gordon" and his enemy the Emperor Ming watch a minute of it with the music of Queen on youtube before seeing this to be able to appreciate the party scene, You'll thank me for it!
Don't go if you are easily, or for that matter, at all offended because there is no one, no race, nor religion that he does not take aim at from the opening scene until the very end. The comedic timing is on the mark as is the CGI that makes Ted seem totally believable. Its a pity they didn't think to market Ted bears at the theater. They would have mad a fortune!

Visionary artist MacFarlane makes smooth transition from animated TV to the big screen with this comedy-fable, which is slender in ideas but is charming and quite funny. The natural interactions between Ted and his beloved man-child owner, John, are terrifically played as an adult by Mark Wahlberg, This is not a comedy for anyone who might be turned off by humor that plays a little loose with race, sex, and any other subjects that may be considered taboo. Honestly, if you use the word "taboo," don't see Ted. MacFarlane has definitely made the best leap from animated television to movies since 1999′s South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut. A must see.
