Laughed so hard, I missed most of the movie. Cried too and then laughed again about actually crying about a bear that I missed more of the movie! Going to see it again and will buy it when it comes out on DVD. Love Ted!!!!!!!

This movie was very funny! If your a fan of family guy especially. But even if you are not, most likely will find it funny as well. I will say that I thought it would be funnier. I'm looking forward to seeing it again to see if it holds up like the hangover does.

I gave it one star as that was the lowest I could give. We are regular movie goers and this is definitely the worst movie I've ever seen. Our one saving grace was that there was a power outage at the theatre we were at as a storm moved across our area so I was able to go and get a comp ticket to see any other show at any other time. Thank goodness for that!

Ted truly was a hilarious, entertaining movie. The whole theater was laughing together multiple times. I love Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and of course Seth MacFarlane so having all of them together was fantastic. There were so many awesome references to other productions, including Seth McFarlane's other shows. Overall, it was definitely worth seeing.

What we have here is a stupid idea, executed by the creator of FAMILY GUY, for audiences who like ANIMAL HOUSE or PORKY'S humor. That is maybe for teen aged boys who can sneak into see this R rated dribble, or frustrated aging collegiate type fraternity boys.
A little boy wishes his Teddy bear would come to life, to have a friend, and the wish comes true. Unfortunately, the bear is a SNUGGLES fabric softener bear lookalike, who is possessed/inhabited by a 45 year old foul-mouthed Bostonion Southie male. Sound like fun? It's not. The stupid humor and lines go on and on. One scene even has the bear whipping Mark Wahlberg buttocks in a hotel room during a fight. IF indeed this is your kind of humor...you are going to laugh and laugh and lap it up like candy. I don't want my money back, as the movie is exactly what I thought it would be. Just the "bear" facts....

The story is fairly predictable, but that doesn't matter b/c it's hilarious. Well thought out & narrated, the writing is good, and the acting is good. I mean, it must've been hard to show the emotion in some scenes when they filmed this before the bear was added in later, but Mark Wahlberg pulled it off.

This movie was clearly an extension of Family Guy. With 4/5 of the regular cast having a role in this movie, Seth McFarlane used a formula he knew would work. Add in a couple of "pretty faces" (i.e. Wahlberg and McHale) and you have the bulk of speaking roles in this movie. It was funny, crude and oddly endearing. The only role that wasn't done well was the one played by Giovanni Ribisi. It is definitely an adult movie. Just because this is based on a teddy bear, don't think you're taking even teens to see this movie.

I thought this was a very funny movie, but my "like" of the movie was overshadowed by the amount of drug use. I was very disappointed with the constant presence of drugs and emphasis the characters spent on the importance of themselves getting high and how much fun it was. I feel this is a very poor message to send to your audience, especially because the theater was filled with mostly young adults between the ages of 17 - 25. Being a mother of kids in that age group I saw this movie's message was just undoing everything we constantly tell our kids not to do.

Seth Macfarlane and Mark Whalberg play off each other so well and the shock is that most of the time you no when Mark whalberg interacts with the bear there really isn't anybody there. There are some genius comedy bits none more funny than at a party at Ted's house when they party with Flash Gordon and things get really crazy. A big negative to this movie is that mila kunis is wasted in this movie she basically plays it staright but isn't given anything to do but whine that Ted and mark whalberg have all the fun. However it's still a very funny movie.

This movie will keep you laughing from the minute it starts. From the narrator in the beginning to the last scene in the end. I recommend this movie to all adults who live the 80's and 90's era.
