Sweet, poignant, funny movie. Plot was a little confusing around the care-giver's outside life, but generally understated and very enjoyable.

The acting was impeccable . I actually don't like seeing sub titles films, but this movie was one of the best films I've seen in 5 years

What a great film, keeps you laughing and crying he whole time, so much fun to see a very interesting relationship develop and blossom.
I think this is a must see for everyone that love a great story, great visuals, no special effects, no explosions, terrific witty dialogue with some slightly edgy urban flavor. plus get some PAris scenes thrown in.

One of the best films I've seen in years. It'll make you cry a little, smile a lot and you'll learn some French. Omar Sy is a phenomenon and Francois Cluzet is perfect. The entire cast was great.

I only saw this because I had seen everything else playing, but to my surprise this has to be one of the finest films of the year. From the opening scene, even before the credits you immediately realize how incredible and well told a story this is. Its funny and smart. You'll find yourself constantly surprised and amused by the relationship of these two unlikely friends and their friendship changes both of their lives. Although its a hard to find art house foreign film in subtitles, make a point of seeing it. Its truly great!

From the start of the movie to the end there was a development of character and friendship that is rarely seen in films. The white elegant refined handicapped man be cared for by the rough crude selfish black man. As one learned to loosen up and find his crazy side the other developed compassion and kindness. Either would give their lives for the other.

Well done movie that captures the wonderful relationship of two very different men. The story is very moving and allows the audience to make their own conclusions by the acting or circumstances of the scenes. The film does not "spoon feed" to make points and indulges the viewer. I enjoyed the personalities of the characters (major and minor) and believe they strengthen the two main actors. Although the movie is subtitled, I feel the audience "participates" and receives more benefits from being thoroughly engaged. Lastly, I really enjoyed the music of the film. kudos to all facets of the production!
