The preview for this movie made it seem like it was going to be really good so I was pretty excited to see it. At first the movie seemed instering, but after a while the movie got boring and it never seemed to get any better. The movie seemed like it never went anywhere.

I so regret that we waisted money and time.. the movie is nothing I even fell asleep. No wander there were only four people at the theatre. Not fair that AMC charges the same $$ for real movies and this crap.Even the blood is not red, but brownish.. I've never seen something like that, even my kids can make fake blood more realistic..

if it weren't for the fact that I had free tickets for this I probably wouldn't have gone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MOVIE !!!!! It tried to be a look @ the human condition & turned out to be just retarded. if your a fan of the blair witch project & are easily entertained by garbage you might like this.

I can't tell you anything about this movie, because nothing happened. I'm really depressed that AMC is choosing absolute crap for their once a month Bloody Disgusting horror-a-thon.
I would never have stayed for the entire film if I hadn't paid $9.50 to see it.

Had to write a short line in defense since the other review here is ridiculous, has spoilers, and should be deleted from this site. So arrogant how people think just because they didn't like a movie they should ruin it for other people. I thought this movie rules, so did everyone else I went to the theater with, if you let your imagination into the story you'll have a great experience. This is a horror movie for people who like to think and listen and are willing to follow a more patient story as it builds. So go see it, this movie's won festival awards and earned great reviews in Aint It Cool News and most all the leading horror sites. Don't listen to detractors till you've seen it for yourself.

Yellowbrickroad is a horror movie very loosely based on the wizard of oz. The story follows a small group of people that supposedly follow some sort of a trail through the woods. I say supposedly because there are only a few scenes in which it looks like they may be on some sort of actual trail. Now I’m going to give this whole movie away because no one should even bother with it. Yelowbrickroad makes Insidious (2010) seem much better by comparison. I thought Insidious had a bad ending but this one is completely out there as one of the worst endings I’ve ever seen. The entirety of the movie is the group of people walking through the woods. As they follow this trail some old tyme music plays and drives them mad. This music is so bad that they go crazy and start killing each other. I stuck with this movie hoping that maybe the end could redeem the rest. This is most certainly not the case; the end only makes the movie much much worse. The only complement I have for Yellowbrickroad is at least it tried something new. It failed horribly, but at least it tried. Save your money and time, this movie is worth neither.
