Blah blah blah. When I go see a Bond film, I want to see unbelievable stunts and cool FX. There was waaaaaaaay too much talking in this one. I couldn't stand the villain - and not in a good way.

Daniel Craig plays all the battle, fight, chase scenes wonderfully and could do so much more if the writiers would give him just a little bit more of the Bond "charisma" mystique. There was one scene/line with a Bond beauty, but it was short-lived and almost obligatory. There is a new relationship that was good, but Bond commanding a room with his male "appeal" was not celebrated in this version.
The rest of the Bond persona was highlighted fantastically in this movie, and the action scenes were right up there with the best of the Bonds

"'Skyfall" was entertaining but in the end, not terribly satisfying. Way too noisy, way too many machines and buildings mindlessly destroyed . . . for what? I didn't feel like that I "liked" James Bond or was rooting for him . . . I was just waiting to see how the moviemakers would get him out of this jam, and the answers weren't very convincing.

High quality, exciting, fun with good performances and engaging, although improbable, story. Bardem a bit over the top. Craig very good, but still does not look or sound or seem like the real James Bond. Dench, Fiennes and Finney the usual (for them) outstanding performances.

The movie was great in every aspect except that I found some of the stunts a bit over-the-top and it could have shed about 15-20 minutes of its running time.
I know, I know. It's just a movie. But, I feel that since the rebirth of the series with Daniel Craig that they have made a conscious effort to take Bond a bit more seriously and I feel that some stunt moments were too far-fetched, which kind of undermined the dramatic tone of the movie, action sequence related or not. I tend to lose my suspension of disbelief when I laugh out loud during a stunt moment because of it's ridiculousness.

Skyfall has everything that someone who has followed the bond movies for 50 years would love as well as something for the new Bond fans. . Javier Bardem is brilliant and both he and Judi Dench deserve Oscar nominations for their performances. the ending is a surprise, but brilliant in execution.

Okay, so I get that this is a James Bond movie. It had great action and special effects. As an overall viewing experience, it was better than the recent Bond movies, and was very satisfying. However, it could have...and should have been better. First off, the main villain fell far short of memorable Bond villains. Secondly there were any number of holes in the plot. And the title. Skyfall? The movie is named after Bond's ancestral home in the highlands of Scotland, which fact is not revealed until the last 10% of the movie, and is basically irrelevant anyway? Really? Technically this was a very well done movie. The action and chase scenes were terrific. But the plot could have been more solidly put together.

Asinine. Insipid. I don't go to a Bond movie to learn about his childhood, or to see courtroom-type scenes, or long (though inventive) chase scenes. And what was the story? A betrayed agent tries to exact revenge on M. Not exactly original. And he gathers an army of men -- and a helicopter! -- to kill her. (And Daniel Craig doesn't do much for the character of James Bond, just as Christian Bale doesn't for Batman; these are just not compelling screen presences. Clive Owen would have made a much better, grittier Bond.) In short, this movie was a sheer waste of my time.

Daniel Craig has turned out to be an excellent James Bond. I wasn't sure at first if I would like him since I loved Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. This is one of the best Bond movies with incredible intrigue and awesome special effects. I can't wait for the next one!! Well worth the time to go see this! I'll be buying it when it comes out on DVD for sure!

SkyFall was an excellent blend of Bond now and then. This movie brought many points, persons and objects together in a way that only someone who has watched 007 since childhood could appreciate. Was on the edge of my seat for over two hours. Excellent action scenes. Was excited about it, until I went to bed. Brings back memories of a James Bond car I had as a kid. Would have liked a little more of the romance, perhas a sexier Bond, and losing a significant male character (other than the women). Nevertheless, this is just food for thought for the next Bond. Totally worth the money and effort to see this repeatedly sold out show in Bangor, Maine! :)

This movie is highly entertaining because of an excellent cast, gorgeous cinematography, and amazing special effects. The screenplay could have been written by a Bond-loving high schooler. There are just too many glaring holes in the story — it's more of a comic book plot line. But it's definitely worth seeing. It's a visual treat!

To me this was a retro Bond movie - a homage to the early ones from the Walther PPK to the lack of gadgets to the return of the Aston Martin. A good story with some nice complexity and twists. Javier Bardem was a very compelling bad guy. Daniel Craig is turning out to be the best Bond since Sean Connery. I liked it. The future of Bond is firmly in place.

I have to say That I think Daniel Craig to be the best of the recent Bond actors and he certainly been consistent in his films. My family thoroughly enjoyed this film and look forward to more with D.Craig !

M, Q, Moneypenny.......just too many changes to be believable. Quite a lot of Bond action and a few answers to a few historical JB questions but overall just a good Bond a flick, definitely NOT the best. Casino Royale was much better!

The first 100 min of the movie is pretty slow in pace. The last 30 min was very good. The plot in a movie like this is always pretty obvious so you need to offset that with fast action. That was not there in the first 2/3 of the movie in my opinion.

i thought the special effects were brilliant,the movie had a really good pace to it,daniel craig makes a good rugged bond enjoyed this one hope he does many more my only knockon the movie was javuer barden he was very good at 1st then but i didnt think he was mean enough bond won 2 easily could have been moer between bond and bardens character but i still enjoyed the movie

I'm a die hard Bond loyalist, and was blown away by the action and emotion. My 12 and 16 year old boys are new to 007, but loved the movie as well.
Magnificent historical nuggets pop up on occasion for fans over the decades. My expectations were extremely high, and they were exceeded!
