Daniel Craig further develops his Bond into a very compelling character. I came into this movie with very high expectations and they were exceeded. The additions of Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris are very welcome. This movie is definitely worth your time and money.

Sam Mendes definitely put his spin in this movie which is usually a good thing. It's not bad here but it doesn't have the feel of a Bond movie. The movie was good: good acting, characters and story line. It was a little dark kind of like the last one but better overall. I liked the way they tied in a bunch of characters and their story lines. What I didn't like was the idea of Bond being old that permeated throughout the first half of the movie. It went overboard. They could have got that point across with less focus on it. I, also, wished that they had some origin to the villian to get a background on why he is the way he is. He seems to be just thrown in.
Overall, go see it. Worth your time.

This was a really smart film, filled with all the usual romance, gritty action scenes, twisted plot, and witty dialogue. However, the clever introduction of classic Bond characters was refreshing and pleasantly surprising. The only downside was the odd title scene, somehow if you aren't going to do classic bond it would be better to skip the dancing female shadows like the first of the Daniel Craig films did.

Excellent Bond movie. I really have enjoyed all the Bond movies with Daniel Craig as the lead, but think this is the best. Although the special effects are superb, it is really the storyline and acting that carry the show. Throughout the many twists and turns I found all of the action believable, even if only a Bond could pull off some of the stunts. The motorcycles-on-the-roof scene was wild, but he is 007 after all! Fair warning, this movie is not full of special gadgets that let him defy gravity or leap tall buildings; just plain old fashioned spy-vs-spy at its best. But to me that was refreshing, and much more realistic. It also forced the writer(s) to do their work and make the dialogue carry the day. They did so perfectly.

I have a problem with this moving. This turns out to be a domestic terorism plot and the villain is a MI6 who is a homosexual gone bad and wants revenge. I'm sorry but...this was a disapointment for me. In the end the old lady dies (M). I'm sorry but I would not recommend this to anyone.

Daniel Craig once again was great as Bond. Javier Bardem was excellent as the Bond villain. In my opinion, Bardem's performance was Oscar worthy. The action and special effects were spectacular, as well as the story. The introduction of Q and Moneypenny into the current Bond movies was brilliant! This Bond story brings it all full circle, opening up story lines for even more Bond movies. Overall a great cinematic experience! Can't wait to see it again.

Sam Mendes brought back the styling of some of classic James Bond films. Javier Bardem plays one of the best villains in the modern James Bond films. Even thought the movie was almost 2.5 hours long, the pace of the film never once felt drawn out. The ending will make James Bond fans very excited!

Ranking of Bond films is really up to taste, so this is strictly based on my Bond preference. Until Skyfall, From Russia With Love was my personal favourite Bond film. Skyfall has it all and in just the right amounts. You enjoy the one-liner Bond, he's there, if you like a Bond with substance, he's there too, and if you like a Bond who could kick butt, he's definitely there. Judi Dench gives her greatest M performance here. Daniel Craig, what can I say he's given another excellent turn as Bond. The Bond girls were stellar once again. EON has been making some brilliant casting choices with the girls the last three films and finger crossed they keep this up. They were beautiful and intelligent. Javier Bardeem was amazing. He was an absolute joy to watch. Silva was scary. He was barely contained rage in a flamboyant, smiling, powder keg. He could probably unnerve the likes of Scaramanga, and out crazy Dominic Greene any day. Honourable mentions for Ralph Fiennes, he was not what I expected, and the new Q was a welcomed new addition as well. It took EON a couple shaky, experimental steps in the right direction with Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, but Skyfall cements the new Bond officially. If I were to suggest a Bond film for a newbie, it would be Skyfall. It is self contained, with the invigorating promise of adventures to come.

There is only one negative and that is the length... it did not bother me, but my husband thought it could have 10 min taken out. But I thought the acting, stunts, reference to the previously existing Bond genre, all really good. I rate a movie by how well I forget my daily life and am absorbed into the movie. I was completely absorbed and thoroughly entertained. After all, that is what going to the movies are all about!!!! Entertainment. I do not try to find special meaning or ascribe social statements to movies.
I want to be entertained at the theater, not schooled. I recommend this Bond very highly!!

As a Bond fan for 40 years I very much enjoyed Skyfall. It was well done. Good story line and excellent acting. Good merging with context of the older movies, creading a relation to older movies from the Sean Connery area. I give this movie a 9 rating 10 being the best. The only shortfall for a real bond movie was the obvious absence of gadget weapons but the story line made good for that. I highly recommed this movie.

Great movie. Had all the traditional Bond features just updated to reflect current times. Action sequences are courtesy of Jason Bourne. The product placement hoopla was way overblown. The martini is there, even the Aston Martin DB5 which was fantastic to see.

What a cast! Javier Bardem looks like he's having the time of his life in this savvy, sophisticated action film. Wonderful, knowing nods to the Bond films of yore with more insight into what made James who he is. Judi Dench terrific, as always, but I can no longer watch Ralph Fiennes without thinking of Lord Voldemort. And what happened to that cute, young Albert Finney? Excellent actor but he looks more and more like Hagrid. Go see Skyfall; you'll enjoy it.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, daniel craig. need i say more?

Javier Bardem nailed it! His comic relief had some audience members laughing out loud. Daniel Craig delivered an exceptional performance, as did the rest of the cast. The stunts and special effects were well executed and believable.

Having saw all 23 Bond movies I have to say this one was by far the BEST Bond ever. Daniel Craig again was fantastic, Javier has to be the best villian and what more can you say about Madame Judi Dench, again another spectacular performance. Skyfall had you sitting on the edge of your seat from the opening scene, which was one of the best opening Bond scenes ever. Daniel Craig again blends the use of dramatic to comedic acting throughout the movie. This movie brought in many new faces to familiar characters. I can't wait to see it again and the Bond movies in the future.
