This movie combines the old 007 with the new. Had a few interesting twist that kept me on edge. Daniel Craig always gets beat up or shot. I enjoyed it though. I would rate it an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best.

One of the best 007 movies to date... Daniel Craig is a Sean Connery type James Bond and he was my favorite until now. The opening of the movie really gets you hooked and the Adele rendition of the Skyfall theme song is truly wonderful. Loved the camera work! The Scotland scenes were beautiful and intense all at once. I would see it again and I would and have recommended it to friends and family.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, terrific special effects

I really enjoyed this more than the last 5 Bond flicks. Craig makes a good Bond, and the dialogue and acting are so much better now. Great action sequences and filming. Nice references and inclusion of shaken martinis and ejection seats to be nostalgic, without over-doing it.

Revealing some of the early Bond background, this movie was so good that 2 hours seemed like 20 minutes. We turned to each other afterward and said, got to have the DVD. Lots of action, great story.

Went to see this last night. I'm surprised it earned such high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. It was predictable and not very interesting. I barely made it through and almost walked out twice as I simply didn't care about the story or any of the characters. Best part was the helicopter smashing into the mansion and even that was comical.
7 out of 10 (for the action not the story)

Mendes does a great job focusing on the storyline of the 23rd installment of the Bond Franchise, keeping Protagonist/Antagonist relations at the forefront while mixing in some well suited British humor to balance out the more dysfunctional and sinister approach to the Bond movies starring Daniel Craig. Overall, Skyfall hit's Bullseye on keeping it's audience engaged in both plot, characters and storyline while supplementing the viewer with well suited Cinematography and temporal editing to keep one engaged and feeling satisfied leaving the Movie Theatre with a great experience behind you.
