This was my first IMAX movie ever and I have to say that for the extra charge to view this movie and to have a reserved seat, it was totally worth it. Everything is BIGGER in IMAX. I thoroughly enjoyed the locations and the action sequences. The opening sequence reminded me of the TV show back in its heyday. I would most definitely recommend this movie and Tom Cruise still has it after all these years!

I was entertained from start-to-finish. Seeing it in IMAX was well worth the extra costs. The special effects were great and I liked seeing exotic worldwide locations.

I really enjoyed the movie. There were really great action scenes and to consider that Tom Cruise did his own stunts is really outstanding. I really hope BMW's I8 shines in 2014, when it comes out. The only complaint that I had was not the movie but the presentation. Some scenes appeared out of focus at the IMAX not sure if it was the theater or the film.

I had never seen a Mission Impossible Movie from end to end, and I'm glad that this one was my first. I was captivated in the movie the entire time. There were very exciting parts throughout the movie, not just at the end or the beginning. I really enjoyed watching this movie and may see it again just to see it again.

Well worth the extra money to see it in IMAX. The sound was incredible. The movie was very, very good and entertaining. Only a couple of the stunts were "over the top/ridiculous" and the rest of the movie was great. Kept the entire family (boys ranging in age 10-17) interested. One caveat: my 10 year old son did sit in my lap and cover his eyes after a while due to the shooting and people getting killed, punched, etc.

Let’s start with, I LOVED Part III a lot. So this unlikely follow-up due to the poor box office of the third one would really have to show a lot to take over as the best Mission: Impossible entry.
My God, was Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol fantastic. Excellent, even. Funny, adventurous, real, exciting, thrilling and a movie I am dying to see again are just a few emotions I had when I left the theatre. Best Action of the Year doesn’t quite sum it up. (Of course, we’re talking the worst action-film year in history, so let’s say, it’s the best action movie since the last Bourne film and James Bond’s Casino Royale.)
If you will see this movie, your mission, choose you to accept the alternative – jail time for not seeing it, is to see it in IMAX. And no worries, mercifully, it’s not in 3D. The whole movie looks brilliant on the extra-tall screen, but if just one scene will convince you, it’s from the trailer: Hunt (Tom Cruise) scaling the World’s Tallest Building: the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. That alone is worth the entire ticket price.
Funny about that scene, during super-spy Hunt’s accent and decent outside the 130th floor, they say (and show) a gigantic “Dust Storm” is approaching. My roommate and I, who both live near Phoenix, AZ were like: “Eh, it’s just a Haboob. No biggie. Go inside, wait it out and wash your car the next day.”
I usually give a synopsis with my reviews. It’s just better not to. Let them surprise you. It’s a fully action-packed, almost from beginning to end, spy thriller. Let them tell you the story, the twists, the suspense and allow yourself to feel what they feel. Trust me, this is a ride you’ll want to take a few times. I know I’m going back to IMAX as soon as possible.
Don’t wait for video or Netflix. Don’t see the smaller big-screen version. And don’t remember your distaste of Tom Cruise…which, by the way, I never had. See this movie ASAP in IMAX. One of the best of 2011.

I have been a big fan of animated films and Brad bird's Oscar winning skills of The Incredibles can be felt all over in this film. Techno gizmo's are all over in this film. Action man Tom cruise carries along his action appeal with jumps and stunts. Car chases. Wow. I feel so tempted to include spoilers. Just watch it.

MI-4 is a non-stop action thriller which kicks the original James Bond concept up two orders of magnitude. Its rollicking suspense never breaks, but just carries you in a rolling wave of higher movie experience peaks. Simply put, Ethan's original mission is to recover stolen nuclear source codes, which are also pursued by the SPECTRE of the 21st century (with apologies to Ian Fleming). The IMF must not only prevent a nuclear war, but also clear their own disavowed name. The photography and special effects are extraordinary, in creating the anxiety of the moment; the Dubai hotel scene alone is worth the price of admission. The climactic parking garage scene is just as over-the-top, and vaguely reminiscent as the clock ticks of the climactic scene of "Goldfinger". You still have a couple of days to catch this great date movie in IMAX. Treat yourself to an outstanding movie experience.

If you live in Arizona I highly recommend you see this new IMF movie on Arizona's largest IMAX screen - the 60' tall IMAX at Harkin's Mill Theater! the visual and audio experience cannot be beat! It is amazing how producers-directors of mega-action serials can "kick it up a notch" and here, in Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol, they succeed once again! The "MC Escheresque" parking garage sequence... near the end of the movie, alone, is worth the price of admission. Kudos to everyone involved, all of the actors, and, especially Tom Cruise and JJ Abrams! Your mission, if you decide to accept it, is to run (not walk) to the best IMAX screen you can find, plop down in a seat in the upper half of the tiered seating area, sit back and relish all 132 minutes of this newest and best IMF adventure! This one will light your fuse, explode your senses and self-destruct any boredom you may have accumulating from too many ho-hum films you have perchance been subjected to lately. "Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol" is one of the highly anticipated movies for 2011. Well...it doesn't disappoint!!! The IMF is back in a big way!!! If you were mildly interested in the first installment, then you will love this fourth installment. Tom Cruise once again reprises his role as Ethan Hunt. He is some how blamed for a bombing attack on the Kremblin. Hunt and the entire IMF team are disavowed by the US Government, while the president initiates the "Ghost Protocol". The IMF team is forced to go "off the grid" to try and resolve this serious incident without any backup or resources. The story unfolds from there... "Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol" contains tons of "Non-Stop Action, Intrigue, Heart-Stopping Stunts and is Extremely Fast-Paced". Tom Cruise is awesome in this installment. You will watch on the edge of your seat!! There are some really terrific scenes in Prague amd Dubai. The door is open...there could be another installment. I am a big fan of the first Mission Impossible movie but I just did not get into this one. Do not get me wrong. The action sequences were great. You have to love Simon Pegg. He is just genius in everything he does. Unfortunately, I have just tired of the Ethan Hunt character. I also believe the story was a little drawn out. I still have to rate this movie as good for the action and the science that makes Mission Impossible a fun watch.

Saw it twice in IMAX, it was so F*&#KING AMAZING!!!!! Tom Cruise is so beautiful, the IMF team was amazing, Paula Patton was really awesome. Loved watching Tom running like hell and chasing the bad guys. Loved all the different locations it was filmed, the stunts, action, fights, explosions!!! Must see in IMAX. TOTALLY AWESOME MOVIE, my favorite MI so far!!!
