i saw it in the imax theater which i recomend highly because of the part where he is climbing the building feels like your right there with him. definitely 4.5 out of 5 stars, but you must see it in IMAX to get the full effect. I can't believe Tom Cruise managed to do all those stunts, especially some hair-raising ones at Burj Khalifa. No one else has his guts (or determination). Add an excellent cast (Paula Patton is really hot on screen), a little humor, and you've got a hit. it's a great date movie, but also lot's of fun for the entire family.

Excellent movie. It truely channels the original series. A cameo by the charcter Willie, or actor Martin Landau or the recently retired Leonard Nimoy was all that was missing. Cruise did a nice job and his cast worked well together. When the director yelled ACTION, they meant it!

First off, Monday was my first trip to an IMAX in a long time. Second, not all IMAX screens are created equal. Originally I was under the impression that there was some "IMAX screen standard." Later I realized there wasn’t any standard. We have two in Arizona that I think are worth the extra ticket price: a) Arizona Mills Mall, Harkins Theatre and b) the IMAX at Grand Canyon Village.
Third, go see Mission Impossible, Ghost Protocol at a good IMAX. It is a treat and worth it. Quit watching on your tiny screens.

This movie immediately sucks you in and all MI fans tend to try to predict what will happen next...Think again. Watching this movie in IMAX highlighted my mood and had me white knuckled and anticipated with eagerness. The storyline is fitting, you feel for the emotion with the characters and ride along with the MI team as they do the impossible on a mission that is doomed to fail.
