This movie was just not as good as the first one, although the special effects were great. Overall, a good, entertaining movie. I just wish more had been done with the plot and building up of the Greek Gods.

As a sequel to the remake of Clash Of The Titans (which paled in comparison story-wise to the Harry Hamlin version), Wrath of the Titans still misses on mythological accuracy. For those that don't know, Perseus, the legendary founder of Mycenae and of the Perseid dynasty of Danaans there, was the first of the heroes of Greek mythology whose exploits in defeating various archaic monsters provided the founding myths of the Twelve Olympians. Perseus was the Greek hero who killed the Gorgon Medusa, and claimed Andromeda, having rescued her from a sea monster sent by Poseidon in retribution for Queen Cassiopeia declaring herself more beautiful than the Nereids. None of this was respected in either Clash or Wrath.
Special effects aside (which are spectacular), the story fails in this follow-up to its predecessor. I would have enjoyed seeing more of the Gods involvement and response to the situations presented in Wrath - instead of Ares and Zeus and Hades 'battling it out'. as they each 'deal with' a manipulative imprisoned Kronos.
Just having Zeus, Poseidon, and Ares meeting up with Hades to 'discuss' the Fall of Tartarus with no representation of the other Gods left me with abandonment issues! What about Hera? Apollo? Hermes? And, the like ... not even to see them initially turning to dust as we mortals 'forgot about them' to elicit the 'remaining' Gods into an 'unholy' alliance to keep their failing godly world from collapsing and thus bringing about Armageddon. Doing so would have added needed character back-story and would have flushed out a plot line that has too many "what about's".
Sadly, Wrath relies too much on F/X and battle scenes and not on the characters and accuracy to develop and move this Wrath of Myth along.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I couldn't believe they fit that much action into under 2 hours! It helps to have a background in Greek mythology.

The graphics and 3D effects are the best part of the movie. The storyline was good, but could have been better. Everything seemed so rushed. I wish they had just added an additional 30 min.

In the art of CG 3D action-packed blockbusters, this was the Mona Lisa, the Picasso. I LOVED this movie. I spent most of the movie on the edge of my seat, saying "Holy Crap! Oh My God! Oh God, That's Awesome!" I cannot say enough good things about this movie. It was awesome. I would definitely recommend this movie to everybody that enjoys this genre.

The movie was great. The storyline was well wriitten and the cast did an outstanding job with their parts. My interest in the movie was how a one set of brothers were able to put their differences aside to help save people. Another set of brothers were at odds and one of them were not willing to stand together as one for positive results. The action scenes were great and the special effects were amazing, Overall, the movie was a winner and I enjoyed it.
